Sir Jeffrey contradicted by the man who ought to know!
Has not the Lord brought confusion upon the ‘camp’ of Unionism because of its duplicity and denial of the ‘old paths’ that were once followed in Ulster!
It appears that the DUP is led by a man who would wish himself just about anywhere else!
His denials of talks with the Ulster Unionist Party leader, Doug Beattie, with a view to him forsaking the DUP and rejoining the party which he left some years ago, have been challenged by the leader of the UUP, the man with whom he held the talks!!
Here is how the matter is stated in the ‘Belfast Telegraph’.
Doug Beattie insists DUP leader Sir Jeffrey Donaldson did meet about switching to Ulster Unionists
“Doug Beattie has said he is in no doubt that talks with the DUP leader were about Sir Jeffrey Donaldson joining the party – and he has evidence to prove it. Click to read more…

Jeffrey Donaldson video does not address claims that he discussed rejoining UUP
This morning’s there is a more than interesting article in the “Belfast Newsletter”.
It is headlined:
Jeffrey Donaldson video does not address claims that he discussed rejoining UUP
This supports my comments yesterday on the revelation of Donaldson’s talks with the UUP some time ago regarding him departing, maybe ‘deserting’ is a better word, from the DUP and rejoining the UUP!

Ivan Foster.

NZ court throws out mandatory vaccine for police
Here is a link to a most welcome high court ruling in New Zealand which upholds the claim of a number of police officers that the requirement for them to be vaccinated against Covid-19 or lose their jobs, was unlawful.
Basically the ruling stated: “A High Court challenge questioning the legality of Covid-19 vaccination mandates for Police and Defence Force employees has been upheld, with the court determining that the government mandate is an unjustified incursion on the Bill of Rights.”
It also ruled that a person may rightly object to having the vaccination on religious grounds since there was the use of cells from an aborted baby used in the vaccine’s testing process. “Justice Cooke agreed with the claim, saying that ‘an obligation to receive the vaccine which a person objects to because it has been tested on cells derived from a human foetus, potentially an aborted foetus, does involve a limitation on the manifestation of a religious belief.’”
That is double good news for those who have taken just such a stand here. Hopefully the UK will follow this line.
Sincerely in the Saviour’s name,
Ivan Foster.

KICS returns after its mid-term break
Yesterday, KICS returned after its mid-term break.
Sadly, because of a small outbreak of Covid—19 in one school family, they had to isolate and that involved two teachers and a pupil. As a result, Thursday and Friday of this week saw classes conducted via the internet. That included my talk with the pupils. It went out as a recording.
By the mercy of the Lord, the period of isolation ends this weekend and normal school classes will recommence on Monday 28th DV.
Sincerely in the Saviour’s wonderful name,
Ivan Foster.

Putin - The Tyrant!
We should heed God’s Word when it tells us: “Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth,” Proverbs 27:1.
This day has brought untold tragedy and suffering to the people of Ukraine.
Here are a few thoughts on the events that are such that we have little idea of what the final outcome may be!
Sincerely in the Saviour’s name,
Ivan Foster.
Putin – The Tyrant!
“And ye shall hear of wars and rumours (reports) of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet, ” Matthew 24:6.
Today, the world has proof that the Russian leader, Vladimir Putin, is, above all, a liar. After repeatedly saying that he had no plans to invade Ukraine and that such an idea was a Western invention, he has attacked Ukraine with a rising death rate within minutes of the invasion. The scope of the Russian attack appears to be massive. Ukraine’s interior ministry reported that the country was under attack from cruise and ballistic missiles, with Russia appearing to target infrastructure near major cities such as Kyiv, Kharkiv, Mariupol and Dnipro. How confident the DUP membership must be in their leader this morning!!
Here is a headline in today’s ‘Belfast telegraph’.
DUP leader Sir Jeffrey Donaldson ‘was in discussions’ to quit the party
It must fill the membership of the DUP with great confidence in their ‘leader’, Sir Jeffrey. It is obvious that through thick and thin he is a committed DUP man and will stand by his members!!!
Note the denial and then the ‘implicit’ admission! As the old Hollywood Indian reportedly said: ‘Him talk with forked tongue’!!
Ulster, on every side, is in the hands of wicked deceivers!

Is this yet more evidence of Rome's guilt!
This morning’s ‘Irish News’ bears witness to yet more allegations against a Roman Catholic institution with regards the abuse of the young.
This time it is summed up in its headline: “PSNI has received five reports of alleged historical sex abuse at Derry’s St Columb’s College”.
The article starts: ‘The PSNI has received five separate reports of alleged historical abuse at a prestigious Catholic grammar school in Derry dating back over four decades.’
I have to honour the ‘Irish News’ in this instance for carrying the article for though the press is supposed to ever bear witness to the truth without fear or favour, we all know that this most certainly is not the case! Click to read more…

‘The truth will out’
There is a statement in God’s Word that we should all EVER bear in mind. It emphasises that the Lord will not allow hypocrisy to be linked to His name or covered by a profession of faith in Him.
“. . . the Lord . . . . will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the heart,” 1 Corinthians 4:5.
The press has been filled of late with the eulogies paid to Mr Christopher Stalford, who passed away suddenly on the Sabbath Day past, at the age of 39.
Mention was repeatedly made of his profession of faith in Christ.
That did not sit well with all who knew him. Many have said that there was another side to Mr Christopher Stalford. If there was, and there was in truth no real substance to his profession of faith, one thing we can be sure of — the Lord will not permit His name to be linked with hypocrisy. He will bring into the light the truth!
It has been well noted by Shakespeare that, ‘The truth will out’ — (The Merchant of Venice). That such an observation should be a global opinion, indicates that the Lord in His Providence has ever made such a truth abundant evident!
It is sad to read the opinion of Mr Stalford, giving by Suzanne Breen, the well-known columnist in the ‘Belfast Telegraph’, that she includes in an article on him. He was someone she claims to have known very well. Her words may be read in the reproduced report below. Click to read more…

Two notable articles in the news
Two recent news articles are worthy of note and comment.
The first appeared in ‘The Times’ and was sent to me by a friend.
It highlights again the universal guilt of the Roman Catholic Church with regards to the abuse of children. The headline itself is horrific!
A million children abused by Italian priests, and it barely makes the news
It surely must constitute to those here in Ulster, who have sallied forth to the defence of Popery whenever a documented statement criticising Rome for its crimes against children both here at home and in virtually every country in the world is set forth, a most telling rebuke for their sad folly!
Shame, I say, upon those victims of Rome’s perversions, who jump to her defence and demand apologies of society in general when the guilty party is that organisation to which they belong and which betrayed them. Click to read more…

Public Statement from the General Presbytery of the Free Presbyterian Church of Ulster
PUBLIC STATEMENT
The General Presbytery of the Free Presbyterian Church of Ulster gives thanks to Almighty God for looking upon our nation in mercy, withdrawing the more extreme symptoms of the COVID-19 pandemic, which have caused death and serious illness. We are grateful for the removal of all statutory restrictions upon our public worship and are authorising our Sessions and Committees to take the necessary steps, transitioning our people back to normality. We continue to pray for all who have been affected by the pandemic through bereavement and illness that they will know grace and comfort.

Some thoughts on prayer by Ivan Foster
SOME THOUGHTS ON PRAYER GIVEN IN AN INTERVIEW BACK IN 2014 BY REV IVAN FOSTER
Back in 2014, when I was retired some 6 years, Mr Steven Lee, a member of Faith Free Presbyterian Church and with whom I had been friends since meeting him and his parents and sisters in Toronto quite a few years before and with whom my wife and two of our daughters visited the Waldensian and Huguenot regions as their guests in the mid-90s, came to my home in Kilskeery to visit with my wife Ann, and me while he was on a visit to Northern Ireland.
Just a few days ago he asked permission of me to mount on the internet a series of clips from his video recording of an interview that he conducted with me on the subject of prayer during that visit.
I freely confess that if it was to save my life I could not recall that interview or what I said. However, since the video was his property I felt that I could have no objections to him using it as he wished, despite my differences with SermonAudio and some of those preachers using it.
Here are copies of the video, divided up into short statements I made on the topic of prayer.
I can but pray that it may be a benefit to others even though I would struggle to understand how that could be!
Sincerely in Christ,
Ivan Foster

Another sickening headline
It appears to me that few pulpits draw attention to the exposures of the abominable activities by Rome which appear occasionally in the secular press as once was the case.
For that reason I feel compelled to highlight these news reports and draw the attention of as many as I can to them.
ANOTHER SICKENING HEADLINE HOLDS UP FOR ALL TO SEE THE HORRIFIC AND DEPRAVED CHARACTER OF POPERY!
VICTIM AWARDED £1.4M DAMAGES OVER ABUSE BY MONKS
The Guilty – Kelly, on the left, and Farrell, abused boys at St Ninian’s while working there in the 70s and 80s
The Falkirk case is but another proof of the correctness of my objections to a ‘State’ apology to the victims of abuse here in Northern Ireland. None but can grieve that they were ever subjected as children to the evil depravities of men and women that make up Rome’s ‘Holy Orders”! Click to read more…

Unionists must return to powersharing
Nothing indicates more clearly than the headline on this ‘Belfast Newsletter’ report, the ’noose’ into which the DUP stuck its head when they committed themselves, and sadly Unionism also, back in 2007 when they entered a despicable ‘power-sharing’ deal with Sinn Fein/IRA!
Northern Ireland Protocol: Unionists must return to powersharing, says Brandon Lewis
Unionist parties should commit to returning to powersharing if Sinn Fein emerges as the largest Northern Ireland party after the Stormont elections, Secretary of State Brandon Lewis has said.
Unionist parties should commit to returning to powersharing if Sinn Fein emerges as the largest Northern Ireland party after the Stormont elections, Secretary of State Brandon Lewis has said.
Mr Lewis said he wanted to see both unionist and nationalist parties nominate for the roles of first and deputy first minister “whatever the result” in May’s election.
Under Stormont’s powersharing arrangements, the first and deputy first ministers are chosen by each of the largest unionist and nationalist parties. Click to read more…

Transgenderism: Christian doctor in battle
An English doctor, Dr David MacKereth, is to challenge the ruling of a tribunal which dismissed his claim that he was ‘unlawfully discriminated against in a dispute over his stance on transgenderism.’
Dr MacKereth, who worships online with Ballymena Free Presbyterian Church, during the meeting with his boss, said he would refuse to refer to a bearded six-foot tall man as “Mrs”, on both scientific and faith grounds.
We have every sympathy with Dr MacKereth’s opinion and stance. There are all too many bearded six-foot tall men out there who, rejecting the truth of God and the witness of their own bodies, have been persuaded by the utter idiocy of modern thinking to adopt the perverted notion that they are ‘female’ rather than ‘male’ or vice versa!
‘Transgenderism’ is born of the devil’s deception and embraced by those who desire to utterly reject God’s order in creation. That there is ONLY male and female is testified by nature itself and by common sense.
If ‘a bearded six-foot tall man’ claims to be a female, he is, as we would say here in Ulster, no female but a ‘HEADER’!
Surely we are seeing the fulfilling of God’s Word in such madness. “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come,” 2 Timothy 3:1, AV. Click to read more…

Cressida Dick says she has no intention of quitting
Here is a headline on the BBC-UK news site today which cries out for a comment!
Met Police: Dame Cressida Dick says she has no intention of quitting
The opening words of the article read:
She told BBC Radio London she wanted to root out “disgusting behaviour” within the Met and had told officers “enough is enough”.
If she was to truly “root out disgusting behaviour”, the first thing she would do would be to ‘root out’ herself for she has chosen a lifestyle that, according to God’s Word, is utterly disgusting!
In a ‘Wikipedia’ article on her we may read: “She is both the first female and first openly homosexual officer to lead the Metropolitan Police Service.”
Enough said!!!
Sincerely in the Cause of Christ,
Ivan Foster.
UPDATE Thursday evening: Looks like Dame Cressida Dick has changed her mind and agreed to quit her job. Wonder why?

Under the power of the enemy
Here are three articles from today’s ‘Belfast Newsletter’, (9th February 2022). They come in the wake of the iniquitous report by the Police Ombudsman into the terrorist murder of five people in Sean Graham’s bookmaker’s shop on the Ormeau Road, Belfast in 1992.
I find only one fault with these articles. THEY DO NOT GO FAR ENOUGH IN THEIR CONDEMNATION OF THE REPORT.
I consider the report part of the Irish Republican/Nationalist continual attack upon every institution of the Northern Ireland State! Criticism of this conspiracy skirts round the input of Roman Catholicism and its offspring, Irish Republicanism with its hatred of all things Protestant and British. The ‘imprimatur’ of Popery is on all these attacks!
Unionist stupidity, weakness and political greed back in 2007, opened the door to this ongoing and increasing dominance of public life here. The DUP with the full agreement of the duped Protestants who supported the move, entered into a power-sharing agreement with Sinn Fein/IRA. Click to read more…

Six hard questions about how those in GB see NI unionists
‘An honour to call Pope Francis a friend and brother’ Archbishop of Canterbury tells Belfast audience
This morning a letter from Mr Alan Carson appears in the ‘Belfast Newsletter’ which read as follows:
Six hard questions about how those in GB see NI unionists
A letter from Alan Carson:
I have just scanned hundreds of posts by fellow unionists on social media about the Bloody Sunday commemoration walk, questioning why the media is so biased against us.
In which the media was lampooned for not giving equal coverage to Bloody Friday, Enniskillen, La Mon, Darkley, Kingsmill or the Shankill Bomb.
Personally speaking, I would be asking some more challenging questions:
Why don’t the mainland British people warm to unionist concerns?
Why do they continue to consider unionism, not nationalism, as the cause of the Troubles? Click to read more…

Moving the goal posts
The news article below indicates that Boris Johnston is the enemy of the Unionist people and that the DUP were utterly wrong to believe his braying, swaggering bluster which was seized upon by them as evidence of his sympathy for the Unionist people.
NI political crisis: Bill to prevent Stormont collapse set to be passed
Westminster will ever simply ‘move the goal posts’ and thwart every effort on the part of the DUP to escape from the mess of which they are the chief architects!
When the issue of a ‘border’ came up, back when the ‘Northern Ireland Protocol’ was first proposed, they sided with those who lobbied from Dublin and also the ‘merchants’ in Northern Ireland who feared that their profits would suffer if the border between the United Kingdom and the EU would be that which is in truth the geographical, international border presently existing between the Irish Republic and the six counties of Northern Ireland.
They are now reaping the harvest of that siding with profiteering greediness and Irish Republican craftiness! Click to read more…

A tribute for Mrs. Florence Dane
“I commend unto you Phebe our sister, which is a servant of the church which is at Cenchrea: That ye receive her in the Lord, as becometh saints, and that ye assist her in whatsoever business she hath need of you: for she hath been a succourer of many, and of myself also,” Romans 16:1-2.
It is customary at funeral services to tell a little of the life of the one who has passed away.
Mrs Dane was aged 84. She was from the Lisnarick area, about 13 miles from us here in Kilskeery. She went to school there and also to the Enniskillen Girls’ Collegiate.
She married Basil when she was 20 years of age. They had met in the ‘Field’ at a 12th of July demonstration in Ballinamallard in which Basil took part as a member of Enniskillen Pipe band, They were married for 64 years.
Mrs Dane worked in Taylor Woods in Enniskillen. When the family came along, she remained at home and cared for the children.
According to Mrs Dane, she was saved following an evening service in Bethel at the beginning of December 1972. When she came home from the sabbath evening service, she told Basil that she had almost stayed behind. That evening Basil slipped off to see me and the next day, I called at her home and spoke to her and led her to the Lord. I always felt that she was saved during the opening mission in Bethel in August, conducted by the late Rev Alan Cairns. How fallible is our memories and what a happy correction for me to have to make. Click to read more…

'The Jab' - not quite the miracle that was claimed at first!!
While my refusal of the ‘Covid vaccination’ is based upon the fact that the vaccines available here on the NHS are all manufactured by a procedure which involved the use of foetal material from an aborted baby and because of this, I refused to avail myself of the ‘jab’ because to do so would be tantamount to ‘endorsing’ abortion.
We have never claimed that the vaccine used ‘CONTAINS’ foetal material.
Now, in a court case in France at present, it is being claimed by an Insurance Company, which is refusing to pay out following the death from Covid-19 of one of their clients, that such vaccinations are very much experimental and taking the vaccine is therefore to take part in an experiment at one’s own risk!

Bloody Sunday
Here is a statement from Mr Jim Allister, leader of the Traditional Unionist Voice party, which is worthy of close scrutiny.
It is likely you will not read anything of it in the media outlets, most of which are given over to republican propaganda on this subject!
Bloody Sunday
Statement by TUV leader Jim Allister:
“There have been many days in our history that bear the adjective Bloody, mostly at the hands of bloodthirsty terrorists in respect of which there have been no public enquiries, political apologies or international recognition.
“That which bears the title ‘Bloody Sunday’ was also indeed a monumental tragedy. I recognise the hurt and anguish of the families of innocent victims down through the years. Click to read more…
