Are liberals waking up to Republican duplicity

The author of this article which we copied from the ‘Belfast Newsletter’ of 25th November, is, I believe, a man of ‘liberal views’. I don’t think that I misrepresent him when I say that. He would not be identified as one from the ‘right’ in the political field here in Northern Ireland. There are indications within the article of Mr Ringland’s preference for the ‘liberal’ understanding of problems that have beset our Province. For example he says: ‘It should also be borne in mind that the British government genuinely wants the people of this Island to live peacefully together.’

I hold no such understanding of the British government’s objective! Whether we live in peace is of no real consequence to London. Rather, I believe that shoving us under a ‘United Ireland’ and out of its hair, is its real intent. Whether that results in peace or the slaughter of the Unionist population is of no concern to Westminster. Read more…

Exodus from the C of E threatened – not likely!!!

Copied below is a report contained in the English newspaper, “The Guardian”. It was sent to me by a friend.

Let me state immediately that I do not believe for a moment what the bishop who is quoted, Julian Henderson, the bishop of Blackburn, says about an ‘Exodus’!

He is reported as further saying: “As and when the church gets to the point where it changes its teaching and its liturgy and its practice in these areas, it is going to be a moment for people to have to reconsider their allegiance to the church.”

Why do I not believe the Bishop? Simply because the Church of England has for a very long time, indeed for hundreds of years, been abandoning “its teaching and its liturgy and its practice”. Read more…

Report on God’s Work in Lisbellaw in 1970

Presbytery statement to be read in churches on Sunday November 22nd, 2020.

In a Zoom Meeting of the General Presbytery of the Free Presbyterian Church of Ulster, held on Saturday 21st of November, the following statement was presented and accepted with reference to the Presbytery’s view on the Stormont Executive’s proposed two-week lockdown. It was also agreed that this statement would be read in our churches on Sunday 22nd November, issued to the public press and sent to the Stormont Executive:

“As a Presbytery we wish to make known publicly our views upon the recently introduced lockdown measures to be in place for a further two weeks. While we agree with the efforts of government to control and minimise the effects of Covid-19, and while we are concerned about the effects of lock-down measures upon society in terms of the material welfare of the citizens of this Province, yet above all else, the closure of places of public worship for a further two weeks is of major concern and regret to us. We would remind Legislators that assembling to worship in public gatherings is an essential right and privilege bestowed on mankind by God as Creator and Redeemer in order to provide for the spiritual and mental well-being of humanity. We would also remind Legislators that, as history clearly reveals, liberty to worship according to Scripture and the Gospel has contributed to the material stability and prosperity of society. Therefore, while we are prepared to be in subjection to government guidelines with respect to Covid-19 in terms of this proposed two-week closure of places of worship, we would urge upon the Stormont Executive that they must make every possible effort to ensure that there are no further such closures. We would also urge the Stormont Executive to issue a call to prayer for the intervention of Almighty God in the face of this pandemic that He might graciously remove it.”

Booze – the legalised killer

I return to a theme I have touched upon before, though now with a slightly different emphasis.

I am aghast at the many Christians in the political world who are caught up in the cry to protect the booze industry from the effects of the necessary steps taken to curb the spread of the Coronavirus and the many others who remain silent as those with whom they are linked ignore their defence of the indefensible!

There is a terrible slackening of the lines of separation from the world on the part of those who belong to a denomination which remonstrates against alcohol yet tolerates those within its ranks who are associated with those who lobby in favour of the sellers of booze.
Sadly, this is the case with the Free Presbyterians associated with the DUP. They cannot escape the ’touching’ of that which is ‘unclean’ when fellow-members of the DUP are so vociferous in the defence of the ‘hospitality’ sector, more correctly called the ‘booze sellers’! Read more…

Police duplicity

The following report from ‘The Belfast Newsletter’ will vex and shame many in the ranks of the Police Service of Northern Ireland!

Faithful members, who have, and still do, face the threat of terrorism from Republicans, will doubtless be angry at the senior members of the force who are to blame for this political and cowardly inactivity in the face of blatant breaches of the law. The police were swiftly sent against those deemed less likely to arouse any political ‘backlash’ but have, it would appear, not been allowed to act against the highly published breaches by hundreds of Sinn Fein members, including Michelle O’Neill and other senior members of the IRA-supporting party. Read more…

Press statement agreed by the Presbytery of the Free Presbyterian Church of Ulster

The General Presbytery of the Free Presbyterian Church of Ulster, at its monthly meeting held on 13th November 2020, agreed on and passed the following statement:

“We, the Ministers and Ruling Elders of the Free Presbyterian Church of Ulster – in recognising that by means of Covid19 the Lord’s hand of chastening for our sins has been placed upon our own nation and other nations also; and in the face of the spiralling ‘second wave’ of the virus; and discerning that man does not have the answer to it; and lamenting that our government has not humbled itself to call on Almighty God for His merciful intervention; and believing that all who profess to be God’s people should now turn to Him in contrition over our own sins and the sins of our nation; and rejoicing that there is pardon for sin through the finished work of Christ the one Mediator between God and men – hereby issue this call to seek Him in repentance from sin that He might forgive us for our transgressions of His Holy Law and remove this virus from our midst to the healing of our land.”

2 Chronicles 7:14 – “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

The voice of the merchants beginning to dominate

I have been increasingly conscious of the dominating role of the merchant in the nation’s affairs.

For the child of God the imperative we seek to live by is “Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” This is so, because God is the fountain of all good, and pleasing Him ensures us of His blessing which, the wise man said: “maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it,” Proverbs 10:22.

But once God ceases to be a feature of man’s thinking then another exigency takes over, the laying up of “treasures upon earth,” Matthew 6:19.

That is the ‘modus operandi’ of today’s society! Everywhere we see the slaves of money-making toiling away and greedily grasping for ever more of this world’s goods. Nothing is permitted to get in the way of enrichment, not even the physical wellbeing of the young, the old, the vulnerable or the weak. Read more…

The Final Abomination

The Church of England is reported to be ready to take the final and ultimate step in its apostasy from God!

It is preparing to endorse ‘same-sex’ marriage and declare that sodomy is not a sin!

The Bible makes it clear that ‘sodomy’ is the ultimate sin that leads on to God’s judgment. That truth was displayed in Sodom and Gomorrah. It is reiterated in Paul’s Epistle to the Romans.

“Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: who changed the truth of God into a lie, andworshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For thiscause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use intothat which is against nature: and likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, andreceiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. It was Dr Paisley who famously defined alcoholic drinks as the ‘Devil’s Buttermilk’!

The cartoon below had this is on mind as it directs mockery at the present stance of the DUP on the extending of lockdown restrictions to the various places where alcoholic drinks are sold. They are most anxious about the commercial wellbeing of the ‘booze’ trade!

The Murderous Madness of Modern Morality

The Bible says: “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!” Isaiah 5:20-21.

Such a philosophy has taken control of the national thinking here in the United Kingdom. Laws, contrary to God’s Law, are passed and accepted by the majority almost without question.

Report of the death of Dr Alan Cairns

I send out the following report of the death of Dr Alan Cairns which appeared in the ‘Belfast Telegraph’ of November 7th.

Dr Cairn’s funeral took place today in Ballygowan Free Presbyterian graveyard. The funeral service and the memorial service, held later in the afternoon in Hebron Church in Ballymoney, may be seen at Hebron Free Presbyterian Church Facebook and Sermonaudio websites.

It is a day of sorrow for very many here in Ulster. We especially request prayer for Mrs Joan Cairns and her family. Read more…

Church of Ireland sit by as their minister leads sodomite ‘Pride’ parade

Isaiah 56:10: “His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber.”

Two recurring themes within the Church of Ireland is its deafening silence on issues which should appal any true child of God and its utter inactivity when presented with a minister who openly defies God.

Both of these matters came sharply into focus recently with the sad case of Rev Andrew Rawding, one of its ministers in County Tyrone.

His apostate actions in leading a procession in celebration of sodomite ‘Pride’ are frankly outrageous, but the Church of Ireland steadfastly refuses to do anything about it. Read more on the Protestant Revival website…

NHS in NI murder 721 babies since April 2020

This is a sad and appalling report which reveals the two-facedness of some in the NHS here in Ulster. It is reported today in the ‘Belfast Newsletter’ that: “There have been eight additional Covid-19 related deaths recorded in Northern Ireland in the last 24 hours the Department of Health (DoH) has confirmed . . . . . An additional 493 individuals tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours. . . . A total of 4,949 individuals have tested positive in the last seven days – this takes the grand total of infections since the beginning of the pandemic to 39,609.”

There is a very intense struggle by medics to contain the pandemic. How tragically sad that another department of the NHS is engaged in something very different from those battling Coronavirus! They have been responsible for the deliberate death of almost the same number of deaths from the virus here in Ulster, and that only since since April past! The official number of Coronavirus deaths since the beginning of the pandemic, around the beginning of March past, published today (2.11.20) is 724 while the number of abortions since the beginning of April past, according to figures obtained by TUV leader, Mr Jim Allister, are 719. Read more…

I need not tell you what prompted me to write this article! Sadly, the horrific events in France a few days ago, are not unusual but have become increasingly common over recent years. The wicked cruelty of Islam has been manifested more and more on the streets of Europe.

This religion has been afforded a place of acceptance and esteem within the ranks of our nation. Such an action can but reap a whirlwind of horror.

Let us be aware of the Bible’s warnings and revelations regarding the advance of evil in the last days and the comforts God offers to His people in the midst of this flood.

The devil accused in the wrong

It is the desire of all true ministers of the gospel to see God’s people walk in the paths of truth.

Nothing is more readily understood by the true under shepherd than that the devil, the ‘master of lies and deception’ is ever seeking to mislead the flock of God.

It does not take much to get us off the right path. Just one word of God’s truth substituted by the devil’s lie is enough!

The Sad Consequences Of Being Linked To Wicked Men

This morning my daily reading included the last chapter of 1st Kings, chapter 22. It features the sad departure of good King Jehoshaphat from the truth of God when he entered into a political allegiance with the evil King Ahab, a man notorious for his wickedness.

Of Ahab we read: “And Ahab the son of Omri did evil in the sight of the LORD above all that were before him. And it came to pass, as if it had been a light thing for him to walk in the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, that he took to wife Jezebel the daughter of Ethbaal king of the Zidonians, and went and served Baal, and worshipped him. And he reared up an altar for Baal in the house of Baal, which he had built in Samaria. And Ahab made a grove; and Ahab did more to provoke the LORD God of Israel to anger than all the kings of Israel that were before him,” 1 Kings 16:30-33. Read more…

Perfumes And Deodorants . . . . They Testify Of Our Sinfulness!

“For mine iniquities are gone over mine head: as an heavy burden they are too heavy for me. My wounds stink and are corrupt because of my foolishness,” Psalm 38:4-5.

It is a quite remarkable thing that King David, despite all his military engagements, never was wounded. At least there is no record in Scripture of him every suffering any injuries in battle. The nearest he came to a wounding was his near fatal encounter in his latter years with one of the offspring of Goliath.

“Moreover the Philistines had yet war again with Israel; and David went down, and his servants with him, and fought against the Philistines: and David waxed faint. And Ishbibenob, which was of the sons of the giant, the weight of whose spear weighed three hundred shekels of brass in weight, he being girded with a new sword, thought to have slain David. But Abishai the son of Zeruiah succoured him, and smote the Philistine, and killed him. Then the men of David sware unto him, saying, Thou shalt go no more out with us to battle, that thou quench not the light of Israel,” 2 Samuel 21:15-17.

But apart from this incident I believe it correct to say that the Lord kept David safe on the battlefield. Read more…

Cowardly compromise

Below is a letter I sent off to the Belfast Newsletter on October 12th in response to its article on the question of a complete ‘lock down’ in Northern Ireland.

The article highlights the misgivings of DUP MP, Sir Jeffrey Donaldson and is reproduced below.

Sadly, it appears he has not the courage to confront the reason why the whole country may well suffer a lock down rather than those areas, due to their defiance of the social distancing rules, have seen an increase in the numbers of infections.

Why does not some Unionist politician highlight why the Stormont Executive is not considering a ‘local lockdown’ where the infection rate is highest?

Playing the two ends against the middle

If the thinking of the British government of the WW 2 era was as muddled and confused as is today’s political leadership, then we today would likely still be living under Nazi rule!

There is a measure of ‘befuddlement’ in political life today that is unsurpassed by anything history can produce!

There is a simple reason for this! Despite the presence of Oxford and Cambridge graduates galore within parliament and doubtless brains aplenty, there is hardly an ounce of gumption between them all.

WHY? The answer is simple. When it comes to that wisdom whereby we walk in a path of peace and prosperity, mankind is utterly lacking!

Those who believe and embrace the Bible will find the ‘path of life’ for it is revealed there for all to enjoy who will trust the Author of it – the Lord Jesus Christ.

“Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore,” Psalm 16:11. Read more…

It reveals the plans of perversion-supporters in Mid-Ulster, led by Church of Ireland ‘minister’, ‘Reverend’ Andrew Rawding, to mount a protest parade in Cookstown, Co. Tyrone, on Saturday 19th at 3.00pm, in support of the moral plague of sodomy that is afflicting the world.

The ‘tears’ of Martin McGuinness

The following is a report in ‘The Belfast Telegraph’ of a new documentary on the life of Martin McGuinness which is to be shown on RTE on this Wednesday evening. It will serve to show that he was a hypocritical liar who lived to murder and terrorise.

I found it especially grieving that the wife of the late Dr Ian Paisley was quoted as saying: “Baroness Eileen Paisley, the widow of former DUP leader Ian Paisley, with whom McGuinness formed an unlikely friendship, said he “did his best to bring peace and reconciliation and succeeded in a large measure.”

She recalled how he had been “tearful” as he paid his respects to her husband following his death in September 2014. “He bowed his head over the coffin and said to me that he had lost a friend,” she said.

“I thought that said more than anything else that could be said.”

I find these words so impossible to understand, coming especially from one who claims to believe the Bible! For the tears of Martin McGuinness at the coffin of Dr Paisley to be considered in any way genuine, one would have to have seen tears shed over the coffins of the many, many innocent victims, Roman Catholic and Protestant, whose deaths he was responsible for! Read more…

Veteran doctor who lost tribunal after disagreeing with transgenderism ‘disturbed’ by new rules for NI workers

A doctor who found himself out of a job after objecting to transgender terminology says he is “very disturbed” by new rules which effectively compel Northern Irish civil servants to use such terms.

Dr David Mackereth, a Christian physician of 31 years’ experience, said such rules will not end with the Northern Ireland Civil Service, but are likely to start appearing across all workplaces.

He was speaking after the News Letter revealed this week that in 2019, while there was no government in place, officials altered the rule book for the civil service so that all 23,000 workers must use whatever “names and pronouns” a transgender individual wants – and breaching the policy can lead to disciplinary action. Read more…

Northern Ireland Civil Service leaders aid the defiance of God which the so-called ‘Transgenderism’ movement engenders!

The newspaper report that spurred me to write, makes alarming reading. Use transgender pronouns or face possible dismissal: new guidelines for NI’s 23,000 civil servants.

Without any apparent authority, bureaucratic pen-pushers can change the terms of employment for some 23,000 individuals and require them to submit to an ungodly diktat or face the sack!

We are moving ever nearer the day when the profession of Christ and His Law will be outlawed. Read more…

The evil rumour-monger at work today

Of late I have had my attention drawn to some of the many deceptions which purport to set forth God’s truth on the ‘Covid-19 crisis’!

I must say that I have found much that is utterly silly beyond words.

I heard of one who reasoned that face masks should not be used because masks are used in ‘voodoo rituals’! We might add another reason to such an argument against the use of face masks, bank robbers usually wear them!! It should be noted that this form of ‘voodoo’ has been practised in hospital theatres for a very long time!

How foolish are such notions!

I have attempted in the following article to highlight just how gullible man is and how ready he is to swallow every daft idea that the devil sends his way. But, at the same time, the glorious truth of God is rejected as absolute madness. Read more…

The personified bitterness of IRA hatred

The following letter was printed in today’s ‘Belfast Newsletter’ in response to a recent statement by one of Sinn Fein’s must splenetic and bitter members. She was guilty of a vitriolic ‘twitter’ attack upon victims of terrorism and the scheme to offer them some form of compensation. She later apologised and removed the comments by order of ‘Michelle O’Neill, her Sinn Fein ‘boss’!

Anderson was convicted of being an IRA terrorist conspiring to cause explosions in 1985 and sentenced to life in prison. She was released 13 years later as a condition of the Good Friday Agreement and subsequently became involved in politics for Sinn Féin.
She is seen as one of the most deeply cantankerous and crabbit Irish Republicans. Read more…

A breakfast of humble pie

It is clear that Michelle O’Neill and her party have had a most ill-tasting breakfast of ‘humble pie’ this Friday morning.

Not a great start to the day!

However, many trust that it is the start of a bringing down and a reining in of this undemocratic, law-defying bunch of terrorism-supporting malcontents which have plagued our country for a very long time indeed!

Sadly, this has been brought about, not by the party that decades ago boastfully paraded around promising to ’Smash Sinn Fein’ only to go on to elevate that which it promised to smash to a position of government by entering a power-sharing agreement with it. Read more…

What he said about Sinn Fein Stormont leader is noteworthy in that it is the nearest that I can recall Sinn Feiner Michelle O’Neill being given her rightful pedigree!

How could one who leads a party that most of us believe is the IRA wearing political garb, which has supported, endorsed, sanctioned, eulogised, approved of and celebrated its every act of terrorism and murder, ever be anything other than one who ignores the law! Read more…

Below is a report from today’s “Belfast Newsletter” that will bring back sad memories to many of my age group.

It seems as if it was only yesterday we ended each day listening to the 11.55 pm late night local BBC news report. The news often left you to seek sleep praying for another family or families bereaved at the hands of wicked murderers!

Those were terrible times indeed which have been mocked by the actions of today’s politicians entering into a political agreement with those deeply engaged in that time of terror and anarchy!

It will abide as a shame upon our little Province that Unionism granted governmental power to the IRA terrorists as a reward for their cruel wickedness and we continue to daily submit to having our faces rubbed in the dirt as the likes of Sinn Fein leader, Michelle O’Neil, rejoices in and celebrates those heinous crimes of slaughter and butchery! Read more…

Northern Ireland’s 100th anniversary

I am attaching below a statement in which Jim Allister, TUV leader, speaks out regarding the disaster taking shape before our eyes, of the form of the 100th anniversary of what God’s praying people 100 years ago considered a mighty answer to prayer, when the six north eastern counties that presently make up Northern Ireland, were delivered from being part of a Roman Catholic dominated 26 counties Irish Free State, later to be renamed as ‘The Irish Republic’.

If the ‘celebration’ of this historic event is left in the hands of the politicians, then it will be truly a disaster!

The Lord will get no mention yet the motto of our forefathers in the battle to remain British was ‘For God and Ulster”! Read more…

IRA as evil as any Chinese activities – letter submitted to Belfast Newsletter (August 13th, 2020).

Sir,

You rightly criticise in your “Opinion” article of today, the response of the ’two leaders’ here at Stormont for their pathetically weak response to the use made by the Chinese representative in Northern Ireland of their ambiguous comment on China’s tyranny in Hong Kong.

However, how can we expect anything more forthright from a Unionist leader who joins hands with those who engaged in a tyranny every bit as wicked as that employed by China in Hong Kong?

The Sinn Fein/IRA campaign which began 50 years ago, may not match in measure the campaign of China but it was just as evil and anti-democratic as anything that China has engaged in. The cruelty, violence, lies, deceit, chicanery and two-faced hypocrisy which mark the Chinese activities in Hong Kong are a mere adopting of the tactics of those with whom Arlene Foster is now in coalition!

It would be difficult therefore for these two ‘ladies’ to condemn that which is a mere facsimile of that which one freely engaged in and the other cravenly capitulated to in order to obtain power and money for her increasingly disreputable party!!

God or the Scientist – Whom do YOU believe????

While I scanned the news reports online recently, I saw the following headline on a BBC article.

“Katie Mack: ‘Knowing how the universe will end is freeing’”

I quickly glimpsed through it (as you do when you come upon evil-smelling rubbish) and thought that I must write something in which I would set over against the ravings of this woman the glorious TRUTH of God!

The article tells us that Katie Mack grew up in Los Angeles. That city is home to the ‘Hollywood entertainment industry’, the epicentre of myth and fairytales and every unclean fantasy of mankind! It is in keeping with such an environment that a citizen of that location should propound the nonsense that is to be found in this BBC article.

Here are some of the statements found in it.

“Terms like ‘heat death’, ‘big rip’ and ‘vacuum decay’ don’t sound all that inviting. And they aren’t. They describe a few of the theories scientists have about how our universe will one day die. But when cosmologist Katie Mack thinks about the end of everything, it gives her peace. Read more…

John Hume is dead.

The death of John Hume, I find, is a solemnising event. Solemn because I think of what the man stated he believed and the actions he took in his life.

He is now in eternity. All he ever believed, his faith in the lies of Rome, have been tested by the ‘Judge of all the earth’ Who ever does what is right and true!

I cannot but contemplate in silence what that means. However, the deceit that is proclaimed by news outlets regarding the man must be challenged and the truth of God upheld.

There are always two sides to every story!

A friend compiled the following articles in response to the fawning tributes printed in the press following the recent tragic death of three family members. I felt that I had to share them with you for they give an insight into the true nature of that, which one who loves holiness and truth must face every day in our land!

We are unwilling to meekly and silently accept the attempt to picture one of the victims of the recent traffic accident as a ’lovely, caring’ individual, given his history of terrorist involvement and must protest at this whitewashing of one who in life was an IRA terrorist, one who took part in the 1970s filthy ‘blanket protest’. God’s truth under attack

I feel compelled to respond to the article referred to below. It seems to me, I may be mistaken, but such newspaper ’scribblings’ seem to go unchallenged to a very large degree!

I would like therefore to offer something by way of a rebuttal to the ungodly tenor of this news report!

There appeared two related articles on The “BelfastLive” news website today, one of which had the headline:

PSNI launches investigation into “homophobic literature” posted to NI homes

This investigation resulted from a complaint by Independent Councillors Barry Monteith and Dan Kerr. They objected to the fact that the Mid-Ulster Christian Helpline, the publishers of the leaflet causing the protest, is listed on the Mid-Ulster Council website. The police are now investigating the matter. The literature was posted to some homes in the Magherafelt area. Another article on the same website related to the subject contained a photograph of the leaflet causing the stir. Read more…

Fee of £200 to write an article praising pro-life Catholics is a standard payment: Paisley

Ian Paisley has said a £200 payment that he received from a religious publication (The Catholic Herald – IF) to write a platform piece praising pro-life Catholics is a “standard fee”.

The article, which appeared online last month, revealed the DUP MP’s admiration that Catholics who take the stance are not “embarrassed” to stand up for their views on the controversial issue.

The payment was logged on the House of Commons’ Register of Members’ Financial Interests, which provides information about any financial interest a Member has, or any benefit they receive.
