Blameless and harmless - Rev. David Linden
On the Sabbath morning past (29.5.22) my wife and I were privileged to be amongst the congregation in Kilskeery Free Presbyterian Church to hear a message on some verses from Paul’s epistle to the Philippian church.
“Do all things without murmurings and disputings: that ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world,” 2:14-15.
The visiting preacher was Rev David Linden, retired now some 11 years from the pastorate of Portglenone FPC. He is a long time friend and companion in the the battle for the gospel of the Lord Jesus. His message was timely, owned of God and brought back memories of the preaching of former years of blessing and power.
I have no duties in Kilskeery Independent Christian School this week so I am sending this great message out instead of my usual Tuesday school assembly message.
I know you will benefit from it.

Boris Johnston — Unprincipled, Amoral and Utterly Without Scruples!
“Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore they shall fall among them that fall: at the time that I visit them they shall be cast down, saith the LORD, ” Jeremiah 6:15.
At the cost of countless tens of thousands of pounds, there has been a police investigation and a Civil Service enquiry into loutish and drunken events in the Prime Minister’s official residence at 10 Downing Street, London.
He has today, stated afresh that he takes FULL RESPONSIBILITY for all the gatherings that have been deemed contrary to the ‘lockdown rules’, instituted by Mr Johnston’s own government during the Covid pandemic.

In other words, he takes FULL RESPONSIBILITY for those events that broke the law of the land and for which others who acted in a similar fashion, were brought before the civil courts and punished.

Church of Scotland declares friendship with Roman Catholic Church, approves same-sex "marriages"
Synod Resolution re The Church of Scotland’s Declaration of Friendship with the Roman Catholic Church
Issued by the Free Presbyterian Church of Scotland
The Synod of the Free Presbyterian Church of Scotland met in Inverness on Wednesday 18th May 2022 desires to place on record its protest against the proposed Declaration of Friendship between the Church of Scotland and the Roman Catholic Church.
The Synod records its deep sorrow, regret and protest at the recent statement issued by the Church of Scotland on unity with the Roman Catholic Church. This Declaration of Friendship marks a new low point in unfaithfulness to the Lord Jesus Christ by a professed branch of the Christian Church in Protestant Scotland. For those who profess love to Christ to enter into friendship with His greatest enemies demonstrates the deepest spiritual ignorance, folly and insincerity. For the national church of a land previously liberated from the tyranny of the Papacy at the cost of the martyrdom of many of Christ’s dear saints now to claim friendship with the system which shed their blood is an outrageous betrayal of the Saviour Himself and His slain saints.
The Synod recalls now, as previously in its Resolution on Reformation Attainments and the Church’s Relation Thereto in 1910, that “Scotland had been for centuries sunk in ignorance, superstition, physical degradation, and spiritual slavery (a state of things which always obtains in nations under the baneful yoke of the Papacy), till set free from that galling bondage by the First Reformation. Efforts were made from time to time by one person or another who had become more enlightened than his neighbours, to spread rays of Gospel light among the people, but the Papists, who had supreme power in civil and religious matters, cut off, by the most cruel death, everyone who had the courage to speak a word against the idolatrous faith and worship of the Church of Rome. This absolute power which she possessed was used with a vengeance to keep the light of God’s truth from the people.”
The Synod also reasserts its position that the system of the Roman Catholic Church is the greatest embodiment of the antichrist, and that the office of papacy is that man of sin and son of perdition, “Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God” (2 Thessalonians 2:4). It also reasserts its Biblical opposition to the doctrines and system of antichrist (so grossly injurious to the honour of the Lord Jesus Christ the only Mediator between God and man) including the worship of Mary, the blasphemous sacrifice of the mass, and the claimed headship and infallibility of the Pope.
The Synod calls upon all who profess to love and serve Christ to honour Him by obeying His own command to have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness such as the antichristian system of Roman Catholicism, but rather to reprove them (Ephesians 5:11), and to heed the call to “Come out of her, My people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities” (Revelation 18:4,5).
The Synod also urges the Church of Scotland to refuse this Declaration of Friendship due to be presented at the forthcoming meeting of the General Assembly, and to consider that the very proposal of such a declaration is itself a loud call to repentance since it demonstrates how far the Church of Scotland has departed from the Protestant faith, Reformation attainments, and faithfulness to the Lord Jesus Christ and His truth.
I endorse and agree with the sentiments of this statement and commend it to our readers but with the gentle proviso that I believe that since the emergence of the Papacy, the ‘pope and the popes’ of Rome have long been the greatest ‘antichrists’ in professing ‘Christendom’. Click to read more…

The latest judgment to befall sodomites —MONKEYPOX!!!
“For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: and likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. Now it’s Martians who are our Ancestors!
“Professor Brian Cox has reflected on the possibility that humans could be Martians – rather than the suspected life forms on the planet of Mars. The renowned physicist told the BBC’s Sunday Morning programme there were still lots of unknowns and suggested that life on Earth could have originated elsewhere.”
Let me tell you, Professor, IT DID, though not in the place you believe in, since it is stated that you wish to be known as a human being (of Martian origin) with “no personal faith”.
Life on earth actually began in the mind and will of God, who dwells in the heavens beyond the gaze of men. The ‘beginnings’ of life on earth’ was due to the miraculous workings of a Person Whose existence you cannot outrightly deny for you are on record as saying that you “cannot be sure that there is no God.”
Professor, you bring to mind Paul’s words. “Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,” Romans 1:22.

Lewis plans are unjust and a continued assault on the preciousness of life
As a follow up to the ‘Burning Bush’ article, sent our yesterday, on the decision to enforce “a fully-funded abortion service” on Ulster (Northern Ireland Secretary plans murder campaign which will quickly outscore the IRA’s terrorist slain) we share with you this article from the ‘Belfast Telegraph’ which reports on the responses of the three Presbyterian denominations in Northern Ireland, including our own Free Presbyterian Church.

Church leaders in Northern Ireland have hit out at “immoral” plans to introduce a fully-funded abortion service within weeks.
The Northern Ireland Secretary Brandon Lewis has said the Department of Health must start setting up the service “within days to weeks”.
While abortion remains a devolved matter, introducing the service has been delayed by the latest impasse at Stormont.

NORTHERN IRELAND SECRETARY PLANS MURDER CAMPAIGN WHICH WILL QUICKLY OUTSCORE THE IRA’S TERRORIST SLAIN
“And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood,” Psalm 106:38.
“So shalt thou put away the guilt of innocent blood from among you, when thou shalt do that which is right in the sight of the LORD,” Deuteronomy 21:9.
“Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently enquired of the wise men,” Matthew 2:16.
The plan by the British Government, through its agents in the Northern Ireland Office, led by Brandon Lewis, is to have a fully funded abortion service for Northern Ireland “within days to weeks”.
That means that the machinery for the slaughter of the unborn, funded by the British taxpayers, will be up and running in Northern Ireland and engaged in the dastardly and cruel procedure.
The verses I have mounted above:
1. Show the environment which promotes the slaughter of innocent children, including the unborn —APOSTASY FROM GOD AND HIS TRUTH.
2. The only means of avoiding the terrible guilt that will be reaped by Ulster by this decision to make abortion freely available — A RETURN TO OBEDIENCE TO GOD’S LAW.
3. The evil mind behind this shameful decision is the author of murder, the mover of Herod, the enemy of mankind, the hater of Christ — THE DEVIL

Boris, the promoter of child-murder
Ulster is to be visited today by one of the greatest deceivers and prevaricators that has ever filled the office of Prime Minister in London, Boris Johnston!
The deceit and chicanery surrounding the breaching of the Covid regulations by the Prime Minister and his staff is utterly shameful. It is but one of many examples of the unscrupulous behaviour of this man.
He is utterly amoral and unprincipled.
The ‘Belfast ‘Telegraph’ has published a lengthy statement this morning from him. As is to be expected, it is a lot of mendacious ‘bletherings’, designed to distract and deceive. He lauds Sinn Fein, the armed wing of which, the IRA, murdered hundreds of English, Scots and Welsh soldiers and many mainland civilians.
We know the deaths of innocent Ulster citizens at the hands of the IRA mean little if anything to Westminster, but one would imagine that the murder of mainland citizens might mean something to Boris Johnston.
Such a notion is vain!
He has arrived here under the pretence of aiding Unionism resolve the ‘Protocol’ issue. BUT IN TRUTH, he is here to help destroy Ulster by pushing forward the agenda of Sinn Fein/IRA, the Alliance Party and the other gaggle of politicians who hate the Union with Great Britain. Click to read more…

I have just sent off this letter to the “Belfast Newsletter” in response to tonight’s news reports of Michelle O’Neill’s duplicitous and lying words following her failure to get the Assembly off and running today

A report in your newspaper states that: “Sinn Fein Stormont leader Michelle O’Neill has accused the DUP of ‘disgracefully holding the public to ransom’, after the DUP said it would block the election of an Assembly speaker.”
In a further statement, reported by various news sites, the same Sinn Fein leader accused the DUP of “denying democracy”.
Whatever inconvenience is caused to the public by a refusing to work the present Stormont Assembly system, it will be seen by all as utterly inconsequential in comparison to Sinn Fein/IRA’s decades of murder and terror in its efforts to obtain its own way. They punished the public with the bomb and the bullet in pursuit of their own self interest! They are where they are by ‘virtue’ of their terrorist campaign and the murder of many hundreds of innocent people!
I am saddened that someone from the DUP did not immediately make this point in an effort to contradict the weasel words of Sinn Fein!

Bandon Valley Massacre: Many in Republic of Ireland still loyal to GB but must keep their heads down, says man whose grandfather survived IRA atrocity
This article is taken from today’s ‘Belfast Newsletter’ and is a follow-up a recent article the newspaper published and which we mounted on our ‘Burning Bush’ website.
I especially commend it to non-residents of Northern Ireland. It will help you understand why Protestants, who have not been brain-washed by ‘Ecumenism’, still resist every move to bring us under a Roman Catholic ‘United Ireland’!!

A Co Cork man whose grandfather narrowly escaped a notorious massacre by the IRA says many people in the republic are still quietly loyal to the UK but are unable to speak openly about it.

Ian Beamish from Co Cork says his grandfather narrowly escaped being shot by the IRA in the Bandon Valley Massacre.
Ian Beamish contacted the News Letter after reading the story of Neale Jagoe, who now lives in Ballycastle.
In last week’s News Letter Mr Jagoe called on the Irish government to give official recognition to the IRA’s sectarian massacre of 13 Protestant boys and men in the Bandon Valley Massacre of 1922 – and the subsequent exodus of hundreds of terrified others.
Neale Jagoe’s great grandfather William and great grandmother Elizabeth Jagoe were among those who fled the area after he was tipped off he was to be shot. They later found safe refuge in Belfast. Click to read more…

Kellie Armstrong: Assembly member left physically sick by abusive images
The following are extracts from the BBC article.
“A Northern Ireland politician said she was left physically sick after receiving images of aborted foetuses moments after being elected.
Police said they were investigating the messages received by Kellie Armstrong.
The Alliance politician, who has spoken about suffering 13 miscarriages, had to leave the count centre to compose herself after receiving the images.

Smiles on the faces of those who plan the demise of all that Ulster’s Bible Protestants hold dear!
“Thus saith the LORD; Deceive not yourselves, saying, The Chaldeans shall surely depart from us: for they shall not depart,” Jeremiah 37:9.
The words of this text are a rebuke from the Lord to a people, who despite their sins and the warnings of the God of judgment falling on them because of their sins, continue in pride, deceiving themselves that somehow or other the Babylonians, sent of God as His instrument of judgment, would never take Jerusalem, but would break off their siege and return home.
There is every evidence that many Protestants look on the recent election results in a similar self-deceived, misguided manner as did the Jews on events surrounding their city. These words are therefore so applicable to us here in Ulster! Click to read more…

Bandon Valley Massacre: Irish state must recognise sectarian slaughter of 13 boys and men, says NI man whose great grandfather found ‘safe haven’ in Belfast.
Many of you will possibly have seen this article because you purchase the Belfast Newsletter, the paper which published it, but there are many who would not see this report other than by our highlighting of it.
The article highlights a long-buried truth regarding the attitude of the ‘Irish Republic’ toward Protestants and is an attitude which has been encapsulated in the mindset of Sinn Fein/IRA as its murder campaigns have shown.
It contains historic facts long forgotten and deliberately buried by the defenders of Popery.

Neale Jagoe’s great grandfather William and great grandmother Elizabeth Jagoe were among those who fled the area after the atrocity, which took place 100 years ago last week.
“The key fact was that these civilians were killed nine months into an IRA truce and four months after the treaty was signed with the British by Michael Collins,” Neale said.
The IRA launched the killing spree after IRA Acting Commandant Michael O’Neill was shot – apparently in self defence – while leading an armed raid on a Protestant home. The subsequent IRA murder spree saw 13 boys and men – two aged 16 and the rest up to to 82 – shot across the Bandon Valley over three days between 26 and 28 April 1922.

How more morally wrong can you be?
“How dare they tell a woman what she can do with her own body”
“US Vice President, Kamala Harris attacks Republicans and calls overturning Roe v. Wade a ‘direct assault on our freedom’ and the rights of all Americans are ‘under attack’.”
This highly publicised comment by the US Vice President, which has appeared on news sites of late, illustrates the blind ignorance that engulfs the hearts and minds of ‘liberals’ everywhere. All pro-abortionists would agree most vehemently with the Vice president’s outburst. Loud and full-throated support by a great number of people and nations for a view does not make it right. The US VP’s declaration but shows the utter falsehood upon which the pro-abortion case rests!
Consider what this woman Harris says. “How dare they tell a woman what she can do with her own body”. In truth, as far as I am concerned, a woman may do whatever she wishes with her body as long as it is not in violation of the law of God. No woman has the right to take her own life or murder her own offspring!
It is clear that world-wide, woman have abused their bodies for a very long time in pursuit of that which they think enhances their physical appearances. I was always amazed at the suffering which some African women put themselves through when they lengthened their necks by systematically adding metal rings around their necks or those who inserted wooden discs in their lower lips so as to extend their lips in a grotesque fashion, or the Chinese women who endured crippling themselves by crushing their feet within shoes that restrained the growth of their feet from an early age! Mothers would fold the toes of their 2-year-old toddlers under their feet and tie them as tightly as possible. The process was extremely painful, and permanently crippled the wearer. Then there was the practice of tooth blackening or ‘Ohaguro’ which was the custom of dyeing your teeth black. It was practiced in Japan as an aristocratic sign of beauty for hundreds of years. The process was long and arduous, took around a week, and required multiple applications of dangerous chemicals to a child’s teeth every day. Those subjected to this process would often suffer very painful allergic reactions to the chemicals, leading to the banning of the practice in 1870 by the Japanese government. Click to read more…

Swaggering, bumptious Russian loud mouths
This article is spurred by the repeated and ridicules threats made by various Russian propagandists which have appeared on our news sites!
What they threaten is so defiant of God and His Word that I just had to respond.
I’m reminded of the wise word of a king of old. “Let not him that girdeth on his harness boast himself as he that putteth it off,” 1 Kings 20:11.

SWAGGERING, BUMPTIOUS RUSSIAN LOUD MOUTHS
There have been many headlines on our news sites, of late, stating the ridiculous and arrogant claims by Russian political and media characters, whose names rarely mean anything to western readers. Their pronouncements are such that we are induced to use such truthful terminology regarding them!
They have urged the utter destruction of the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland by means of the use of nuclear weapons, as the article below highlights.
Such loud-mouthed oft-repeated calls as above draw attention to the insanity, endemic in the court of Communistic Tsarism!
Such stupid genocidal demands seem to forget that what is ‘sauce for the goose is also sauce for the gander’! Such an attack (if indeed it is possible) would certainly bring retaliation most terrible upon Russia. As one somewhat wiser Russian commentator said, ‘Whatever else he may be, Putin is NOT suicidal.’ It would be suicide of a monumental scale to carry out such an attack.
However, we can never really depend ON how such men as Putin will respond to the utter contempt he has brought upon himself and his armed forces on the international stage by the drubbing they have received at the hands of the very much smaller Ukrainian armed forces!
In response to the unknown possibilities of what the madman in charge of Russia may do in the face of the daily humiliation he has encountered since his highhanded invasion of his much smaller neighbour, I turn to the Bible for enlightenment and comfort. Click to read more…

Precious and profitable ponderings for the aged!!
“I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread,” Psalm 37:25.
Yesterday morning, just before we walked down to the morning meeting, my wife and I shared a few words regarding the above text. We were conscious of our advancing years and the toll of a recent bout of Covid, but were comforting ourselves in these words of David.
It is a theme which David often pondered.
“For the LORD loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off,” Psalm 37:28.
“Cast me not off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength faileth,” Psalm 71:9.
“Now also when I am old and grayheaded, O God, forsake me not; until I have shewed thy strength unto this generation, and thy power to every one that is to come,” Psalm 71:18.
“For the LORD will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance,” Psalm 94:14.
There are many things which desert you as you grow older: strength, mobility, eyesight and hearing fails, as does our memory, all of which betoken the decline of our mortal frame! We find that the aged are often forgotten and forsaken by their families for it is easier to live with an ‘out of sight, out of mind’ mindset than it is to take on the burdens of caring for the enfeebled, with all that such care demands regarding time and effort. In these days of ‘state welfare facilities’ such an attitude appears to be very common.
How thankful Ann and I are for the care we receive from those members of our family who live in Ulster, especially those who live ‘round the road’ here in Kilskeery as well as those who live further away and can only assist us by their prayers. Click to read more…

I have sought to respond to the spectacle of yesterday’s bogus apologies to the victims of abuse.
