It has happened before as the Bible gives ample historical evidence for and there are also told that this age is to end with a world-wide rebellion against God which, as it did in Noah’s day, will bring God’s judgment though this time in the form of the personal intervention of the Lord Jesus Christ.
“And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. While governments struggle to find an answer to ‘lawlessness’, the Christian enjoys an inspired account of how our Saviour will bring it all to an end when “the kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever,” Revelation 11:15.
