‘No place for racism in our society’, says O’Neill
O’Neill leads a party which was allied with IRA terrorism which raged for decades here in Northern Ireland and which resulted in hundreds of innocent people, Protestant and Roman Catholic, being callously murdered. The chief motive of the IRA was a hatred of all things Protestant and British. Thus the Protestant and Unionist community chiefly were the targets of the IRA. Roman Catholics who were deemed to show any sympathy for the IRA’s chief victims, became targets also and were brutally murdered. The bodies of some of these victims have never been found!
For her to condemn ‘RACISM’ is so ridiculous to be laughable! Sadly, she and her party hold office only because of the blatantly foolish action of the Democratic Unionist Party entering into nefarious agreement to share power with them back in 2007. Blind greed and grasping after power was the DUP’s motive for such an utter contempt for all its former promises to never share power with Sinn Fein/IRA. That greed was bolstered by a confidence in its own ‘political skills’!
We are where we are today because of that arrogance and mercenariness!
The hypocrisy of O’Neill was shared by the DUP in that she was joined in this statement, we are told, by the DUP, Deputy First Minister, Emma Little-Pengelly.
It would appear that the DUP has either forgotten the years of IRA terror and murder or simply, for the sake of maintaining their apparent position of power, which is in truth a mere ‘spider’s web of make-believe’, shut them out of their minds!
Thus the DUP assist in Sinn Fein/IRA’s promoting itself as a pillar of decency and democracy when in truth its history is one of bloodshed, heartless butchery and massacre.
Of course this same affected piety is seen throughout the Stormont ‘Executive’!
This woman can stand beside the leader of Sinn Fein, with its long history of terrorism against the Protestant minority in Ireland, and say that it is important to make minorities “welcome and safe”. How she didn’t choke on the words is amazing!
Of course, all this ‘cloud cuckoo-land’ stuff is the direct offshoot of the lies of ecumenism spouted from apostate pulpits.
If you dare to deny the Bible and cast it away and invent your own ‘God’ and your own way of salvation and path to heaven, you can embrace any degree of self delusion and pontificate the most contradictory ‘self-righteous’ nonsense and be utterly blind to your own folly and self-deceit!
Psalm
A Psalm I read this morning contains a summary of the true ‘Curriculum Vitae’ or the ‘Course of Life’, as the Latin term means.
The words of the Psalm indicate that the ‘hypocrisy’ of Michelle O’Neill and her ilk is not new!
“The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts. His ways are always grievous; thy judgments are far above out of his sight: as for all his enemies, he puffeth at them. He hath said in his heart, I shall not be moved: for I shall never be in adversity. His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and fraud: under his tongue is mischief and vanity. He sitteth in the lurking places of the villages: in the secret places doth he murder the innocent: his eyes are privily set against the poor. He lieth in wait secretly as a lion in his den: he lieth in wait to catch the poor: he doth catch the poor, when he draweth him into his net. He croucheth, and humbleth himself, that the poor may fall by his strong ones. He hath said in his heart, God hath forgotten: he hideth his face; he will never see it. Arise, O LORD; O God, lift up thine hand: forget not the humble,” Psalm 10:4-12.
There is a day when such devil-inspired iniquity will be dealt with by the Lord. That is a most dreadful day and one that truly makes one sorry for those deceived and deluded by their own proud hearts!
