Someone will be killed if Derry rioting continues: Arlene Foster

Police and Protestants once again targeted by Republicans. The old animosities just do not go away! All this is reminiscent of the beginning of the troubles in 1968. It is born of a hatred of Protestantism, all things British and has no justification whatever now or 50 years ago despite Sinn Fein’s lying propaganda!!

Big Bang and evolution are compatible with the idea of God: Pope

Once again it is the Pope versus God! His ‘pronouncement’ does not, cannot destroy the witness of God’s Word, which is repeatedly substantiated by unblinded scientists!
“For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it,” Exodus 20:11.
“. . . the beginning of the creation which God created,” Mark 13:19.
“And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands: they shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment; and as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail,” Hebrews 1:10-12.

Presbyterian protest letter ‘doesn’t help,’ says minister

In all the exchanges between the parties within the Presbyterian Church in Ireland warring over the issue of ‘sodomy’ and related topics it is to be noted that little or no reference is made to the Word of God, the ‘only infallible rule of faith and practice’! WHY???

Jimmy Carter says ‘Jesus would approve of gay marriage’ but not abortions

Jimmy Carter is 93 years of age. One therefore can expect the occasional daft utterance from him, especially when he was prone to making such frequently when he was much younger!

However, on this occasion he is half right and half blasphemous!

The Lord Jesus condemned sodomy and could not therefore approve of sodomite marriage. The Saviour endorsed all that was written in the Old Testament (Matthew 5:17) with its references to the wickedness of sodomy but also He particularly indicated that the citizens of Sodom would again face God’s judgment on the ‘day of judgment’. “But I say unto you, That it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for thee,” Matthew 11:24.

He reiterated and restated the Genesis account of the destruction of Sodom. “But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all,” Luke 17:29.

So too did Peter and Jude especially refer to God’s judgment on these evil cities. (2 Peter 2:6, Jude verse 7.)

Poor old Jimmy Carter is but one of the many deceived by the devil on this matter.

Ex-Moderator reveals anguish over Presbyterian’s same-sex row

“Asked if he saw a parallel with the way in which Christian Churches eventually had to revise their long-held – but ultimately false – position on the issue of slavery, the distinguished clergyman said: ‘I struggle with precisely that question.’ ”

This learned ‘doctor’ seems to forget that the change in the Christian view referred to was a getting into step with the Bible not, as he would wish, a defying of the Scriptures!!! Read the Belfast Telegraph article.

More than 200 top Presbyterians reveal their ‘hurt, dismay and anger’

Whether they are ‘top’ or ‘bottom’ is a matter of opinion!!

No one ever seems to consider the Lord’s ‘sensitivity’ regarding to these wickednesses!
We can well conceive of the Saviour responding these Presbyterians and others like as He did to Peter’s folly. “But when he had turned about and looked on his disciples, he rebuked Peter, saying, Get thee behind me, Satan: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but the things that be of men,” Mark 8:33. Read the report.

Defence Secretary ‘backs IRA amnesty if it ends Troubles soldiers prosecution’ – report

GAA still a cold house for Protestants: Jim Wells

The headlines surrounding this ‘event’ should read ‘DUP leader Arlene Foster desecrates God’s Sabbath and offends Him in order to placate Irish Republicans’.

Shame on her! Whatever favour she thinks will gain by her action she will reap a sad harvest from the hand of God.

The harvest may be seen in the history of God’s dealing with Israel. “I lifted up mine hand unto them also in the wilderness, that I would scatter them among the heathen, and disperse them through the countries; because they had not executed my judgments, but had despised my statutes, and had polluted my sabbaths, and their eyes were after their fathers’ idols,” Ezekiel 20:23-24.

DUP councillor berates Arlene Foster for ‘publicly flouting Lord’s Day’

Mrs Foster explained on radio that she had asked her bishop for advice about going to the GAA match on the Lord’s Day and she was told by him that it was not contrary to God’s Law!!

Why did she not just ask the Lord? That is what Protestants do!

In the light of the Bishop’s response I wonder what  Isaiah 58:13-14 means?

“If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words: then shalt thou delight thyself in the LORD; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.”

Significant step for DUP as Arlene Foster breaks ice with Northern Ireland gay community

“I wanted to come here to say that I value LGBT people as citizens of Northern Ireland and it was important to do that.” – Mrs Arlene Foster.

Lot was a backsliding believer and no model to follow yet even he was “vexed (wearied, exhausted) with the filthy conversation (lifestyle) of the wicked,” 2 Peter 2:7.

It is not wrong to be disgusted at the attitudes and behaviour of sodomites any more that it is to be repulsed by drunkenness, loutishness and foul language! Read the Belfast Telegraph report.
