Beware: scammers are coming your way!!

All of us are aware of warnings from the police, the banks and various other agencies of the danger of ‘scams’, a dishonest attempt by a bogus business organisation to defraud us.

Well, today I am issuing a warning about a scam that will cost those deceived far more than their cash — I am warning about a ‘scam’, that if believed, will cost the victim their eternal soul!

Here is a photographic reproduction of an article from today’s “Irish News”.

Back in January 1998, just before I started digitalising the ‘Burning Bush’ articles, I published an article from ‘The Times’ newspaper.

Here is a photographic copy of that article. I am sure you can enlarge it on your computer or phone.

The above article makes interesting reading and, to my knowledge, was never refuted.

Sadly, such is the blindness of the ‘devotees’ of this and other follies of the Roman Catholic Church that nothing that the Bible teaches or that common sense asserts, makes the slightest impression upon them!

Meanwhile, the controversy following the anti-sodomite/transgender statements of a priest, Seán Sheehy, in Listowel church in the diocese of the Bishop of Kerry, rumbles on!

Here is another article from today’s ‘Irish News”.

This controversy highlights the utter hypocrisy of the Roman Catholic Church. Here is what the ‘official’ position of that fraudulent organisation is on marriage.

Definition of Marriage in Canon Law

The Catholic Church, in its canon law and theology, describes marriage as a lifetime, exclusive partnership between one man and one woman, who give and receive mutual help and love and, from their union, bring forth and rear children. Marriages always are presumed valid until proven otherwise. If a marriage involves two baptized Christians, it is presumed not only valid but also sacramental. If one or both parties is unbaptized, the marriage still is presumed to be valid and a good and natural bond.

Of course, quite contrary to its claims of ‘infallibility’, it can change its position in order to ‘sail with the wind’ and stay in step with the ever more corrupt views and notions of a increasing fetid ‘public opinion’!

Paul the apostle issued this word of instruction and admonition to Timothy.

“But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; and that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works,”  2 Timothy 3:13-17.

Two things are apparent from these words.

  1. The world will become more and more wicked, led on by deceivers, and depart from every rule of decency and holiness.
  2. For the true child of God, the only inspired, unchanging rule for them to follow in obedience is the Word of God, which Paul declares is “given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.”

The Word of God is above the inventions of popes and prelates, churches and denominations.

I would that all, Roman Catholics and Protestants and all who embrace false religions, were convinced of that.

Only the Bible is able to “make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.”
