II. THE SAINTS ARE GATHERED TO AN INHERITANCE

The all of verse 10 is changed to the we of verse 11. For the saints, the purpose of God is an inheritance. Notice that we have obtained an inheritance.

1. Legally, we possess all of it. It is ours, made over to us. Acts 26:18. You are an heir of the kingdom of God, Rom 8:17; Col 1:12; 1 Peter 1:3-5.

2. Experimentally, we have entered upon the enjoyment of it. 1 Cor 1:22; 2 Cor 5:5; Eph 1:14. The blessed Holy Spirit and the grace He supplies is the pledge of our inheritance.

3. Eternally and fully we will one day enter upon it. Rev 21:1-2.

Ezekiel: The ignored watchman

A series of messages by Rev. Andy FosterEzekiel was God’s watchman to the nation of Israel. In the first part of his ministry he warned of the sin of the nation and highlighted the consequences it had brought, and would continue to bring. He was largely ignored and dismissed.

In the second part of his ministry he proclaims messages related to the glorious future of the nation of Israel, restored by grace and redemption. Sadly, these messages are still often neglected and overlooked!
