A teacher, who professes to be a Christian, has been sacked for stating what the Bible teaches regarding the moral perversions involved in the ‘LGBT’ and ‘transgender’ movements. Read the report here.
Bishop Justus C of E School in Bromley, south London, sacked Glawdys Leger for telling pupils that being LGBT was a sin.
WHY?
In truth, I am at a loss to understand why any professing Christian would wish to teach in a school run by the Church of England or the Church of Ireland, given that both are wholly aligned with the apostasy and departure from God’s Word today. Both systems are ‘pro LGBT’ and the true believer has no place in such a school. God has never commanded His people to enter the apostasy in order to resist it! To do so is to step outside His will and so deprive oneself of His help when trouble comes.
Paul said: “At my first answer no man stood with me, but all men forsook me: I pray God that it may not be laid to their charge. Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me . . . and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion,” 2 Timothy 4:16-17.
To try and do ‘right’ by doing ‘wrong’ will bring the Christian to that place of danger whereby they may experience something of God’s wrath. This we are warned of in Revelation 18.
“And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities,” verses 4-5.
Furthermore, it will encourage Christian parents to send their children to such schools when they see one professing faith in Christ there as a teacher!
There is only one place a for a Christian to teach and that is in a Christian School!
Reaction
The reaction to this teacher’s statement of simple Bible truth is proof of the utter sellout of that denomination to the lie of the devil! It is no fit place for a Christian.
Let it be remembered that if we would serve and honour the Lord, there is but one place to do it!
“Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate. Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach,” Hebrews 13:12-13.
What this lady teacher said in this instance is true. The Lord has stated clearly and repeatedly this truth in His Word. Furthermore, He has revealed that such practices in the past have brought down His judgment upon those guilty of defying His Law.
Past Judgments
“For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; . . . Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: . . . For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them,” Romans 1:18, 22-24, 26-32.
The Law
Not only has this branch of the Church of England defied God’s Word – in keeping with the decades of utter apostasy and rebellion by the hierarchy and pulpits of that denomination, which is the ‘established or state church in England’, but the ‘Law’, represented by the judge who ruled that what this teacher said ‘constituted unprofessional conduct’, has placed itself in rebellion against God.
Ecumenism
This is where modernistic and liberal theology, epitomised in ECUMENISM, has brought the land that has witnessed and experienced for centuries the mercy and grace of God!
As I have often noted before, the Saviour indicated that one of the features of mankind in the closing days of this age will be a ‘return’ to the wickedness that damned the world in Noah’s day and which further damned the cities Sodom and Gomorrah.
“And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed,” Luke 17:26-30, (Genesis 19:29).
The Saviour’s words, eternally true and faithful, have been shown to be wonderfully relevant to our day with its ever-deepening apostasy against God, by the words of the High Court judge, Mrs Justice Lang.
Christians who fail to see the sliding toward the final rejection of God and His Word in the events of today, world-wide, are paying little heed to Bible prophecy. They are like those depicting the final generation of professing believers, set forth by the Saviour in one of His final parables.
“Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. . . . While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept,” Matthew 25:1, 5.
That is where the majority of true Christians are today – asleep to the spiritual and religious developments taking place all around and awake only to their earthly comforts and pleasures!
Paul’s words are particularly relevant today!
“Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil,” Ephesians 5:14-16.
