Once again the news is focused on the rejection of God’s Law and the instigating of man’s immorality as the standard by which humans should live. Perversion is legalised and every effort made to remove all ignominy and opprobrium from those given over to all related depraved deviancy!
The above heading is taken from the BBC news item. In it is reported that “More people will be eligible for a pardon for historical criminal convictions relating to homosexual activity, the government has said. It means anyone convicted or cautioned for consensual homosexual activity, under now-abolished laws, can apply to have them ‘disregarded’. The convictions would be wiped from record and an automatic pardon given.”
We ask: “Pardoned by whom?” “Wiped out from what record?”
Most certainly not from Heaven’s record of man’s wickedness and again, no pardon is forthcoming from the God of Heaven!
The estimation of just what is sin and what is acceptable behaviour does not lie with Governments and Parliaments! Nor does the pardoning of the breaches of God’s Moral Law, which sodomy and its allied transgressions are, lie with any earthly institution. The above pardon is a vain, empty and valueless proclamation on the part of those who side with today’s rampant rebellion and who would defy the Judge of all the earth!
There is a record in the Books of Heaven which can not be expunged by the decrees of men! That record remains intact until the days spoken of in Revelation 20:11-12!
“And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is [the book] of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.”
Earth’s records may be purged but that is meaningless in the light of the above, and many, many other Scriptures.
A letter appeared in today’s ‘Belfast Newsletter’ (4th January 2022) from a Dublin resident which makes a telling point on the matter of the sodomites’ quest for the ‘acceptance’ of their perverted and God-abominated lifestyle!
There is also a report in the same newspaper of another attempt to invalidate God’s law and further legalise the murder of unborn children. This call comes from south of the border in the Republic of Ireland.
The unrelenting attack continues upon God’s Holy Standards by blinded and wicked men.
Allied to this attack is the following report which appears in today’s “Belfast Telegraph” regarding the so-called ‘gay cake’ case.
There again we witnessed the arrogance of the pro-sodomite lobby as they seek to impose their moral views upon all and sundry and force even Christians to disobey God and trample His holy Law under their feet. Although the case was first heard in a local court back some eight years ago and the owners of Asher’s bakery vindicated when the The UK’s highest court ruled that Ashers bakery’s refusal to make a cake with a slogan supporting same-sex marriage was not discriminatory.

However, the complaint against the bakery was supported by The Equality Commission for Northern Ireland and an appeal was made to the European Court. It it is now about to announce its verdict.
Irrespective of that announcement, the Christian must hold to the eternally determined outcome of the final bar of judgment, God’s Great White Throne! The outcome of that ‘Court’ sitting has already been announced.
“But the LORD shall endure for ever: he hath prepared his throne for judgment. And he shall judge the world in righteousness, he shall minister judgment to the people in uprightness. The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee,” Psalm 9:7-10.
Let the child of God hold fast to the Word of God in these evil times: “For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the LORD [endureth] for ever. Praise ye the LORD,” Psalms 117:1-2.
