Peter Lynas and Evangelical Alliance join forces with Jesuit promoter Alain ‘Ecumenical’ Emerson

Psalm 66:18 tells us that “If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me”.

And surely such a peril lies before those organisers of the prayer event held at the gates of Stormont, the would-be seat of power in Northern Ireland, were we not held to ransom by murderers and their apologists, on Sunday past, 24 March.

The event was organised by 24-7 Prayer Ireland, which is an ungodly organisation in the first place.

It is headed up by Alain Emerson (pictured on the right of the image at the top of this article), lead pastor of the anti-Christian charismatic Emmanuel Church, based in the Craigavon area.

Alain Emerson’s ecumenical rap sheet is so long it would make your eyes water, hence his richly deserved moniker of Alain ‘Ecumenical’ Emerson. Read more on the Protestant Revival website.

Belfast Church of Ireland hosts ABBA tribute concert

In today’s liberal church, there seems to be little separation between the sacred and the secular.

Lines have been blurred to such an extent in many churches that it is hard to tell the difference.

And St Polycarp’s Church of Ireland, based on the Upper Lisburn Road in Finaghy in the outskirts of Belfast have trampled all over those lines by hosting an ABBA tribute concert.

This church used worldly music to try to lure in the punters, although it is hardly surprising to see unbiblical methods employed when one is aware of some details regarding the church.

Firstly, the ‘minister’ of the church is a woman called ‘Rev’ Louise Stewart (pictured on the left of the image at the top), meaning both the church and its ‘minister’ are automatically setting themselves at variance with the Word of God. Read more on the Protestant Revival website.

“EUTHANASIA” — Is it really a ‘good’ death??”

The issue of ‘assisted suicide’ is ever more in the news. An article appeared in a religious publication recently which read:

“Some doctors in the United Kingdom are pushing back against efforts to gain support for legalizing assisted suicide.

An article in the The Times highlights how some members of the Royal College of Physicians (RCP) fear that the organization is being hijacked by assisted suicide activists.

The RCP is asking its members if they think British law should be altered in order to allow assisted suicide. If a majority of 60 percent or more votes one way or another, the college will issue an official stance accordingly. But if there is no clear winner, the RCP will adopt a neutral stance on the issue.

“The poll will be conducted by email,” the RCP website explains, “and the results will be released in March.”

Some physicians are casting doubt on the way the poll is set up, claiming that even a neutral stance on assisted suicide would still be a tacit endorsement. In a letter to The Times, about two dozen medical professionals stated, “We are worried that this move represents a deliberate attempt by a minority … to drop the college’s opposition to assisted suicide even if the majority of the membership vote to maintain it.” is in the news afresh though it seems every day we read of suicides and those planning to end their own lives.”

The reason for the increase of suicides and the altering opinions of doctors is the growing ignorance of the Bible and the lack of any fear of eternal judgment as a consequence!

If people only knew that there is a hell for those who die without Christ, then suicide would not appear such a wonderful way of escape as the devil has deceived millions into believing.

Presbyterian ‘minister’ preaching at Romanist novena celebrating group of priests

‘Rev’ Ruth Patterson will be preaching at the ‘Novena of Hope 2019’ at The Graan, a Romanist chapel near Enniskillen in County Fermanagh which, for a long time, has been the clerical home of noted Romanist, ‘Father’ Brian d’Arcy.

It is being held to celebrate the 300th anniversary of the Romanist grouping of the Passionists.

A novena is a nine day prayer event and this one will run from Saturday, 23 March to Monday, 1 April, with ‘Rev’ Ruth Patterson to sow her ecumenical, heretical seeds of deceit on Thursday, 27 March. Read more on the Protestant Revival website.

Report of the Free Presbyterian Protest in Newry, Co. Down, against the evil play,“ Jesus Christ — Superstar.”

By Rev Paul Hanna, Mt Merrion FPC, one of the ministers who organised the protest

Around 6:30pm on the cold, brisk evening of Thursday 14th March 2019, a crowd of concerned Free Presbyterians started to gather outside the front of Newry Town Hall.

The planned production of the blasphemous Rock Opera, ‘Jesus Christ – Superstar’ had been running in the 19th Century picturesque Town Hall (situated in the centre of the Newry – and actually built on top of Newry River) since Tuesday 12th, and was scheduled to run until Friday 15th March.

Around 45 – 50 Free Presbyterians of all ages, including four ministers from local Churches, gathered on the footpath opposite the main entrance where we mounted our hour-long vigil. Read more

THE FOOTSTEPS OF PATRICK

A brief account of the work of God in Ireland over the last 1500 years

by Rev. Ivan Foster.

The Gospel of Christ came to Ireland over 1500 years ago. Despite many attempts by Satan and his agents God has been pleased to maintain His truth in this land. Following its first planting the Gospel was carried by men whose hearts the Lord had touched into many neighbouring countries: Scotland, England, Wales, France, Germany, Switzerland and further.

God has been pleased, in some measure, to do again in these latter days what He did in those distant days. May the land, now associated with terror and strife, become known again by the title it was then given, “The land of Saints and Scholars.” Read more

A little bit of Irish history to clear away the mists of popish myths and deceit about Patrick

A knowledge of the history of Ireland is a very beneficial and
precious thing. History displays the merciful dealings of God with our forefathers.

Such a knowledge will do much to expose the lie of Rome that has bred the spirit of Irish nationalism, based upon the myth of a pure Irish race that has ever been fervently Roman Catholic. It will go far toward removing the feeling of insecurity, and of guiltiness at being in Ulster, that many Ulster Protestants suffer from as a result of Rome’s persistent lie. Read more

“Behold, the LORD’S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: but your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear. The Ongoing Challenge Facing the Free Presbyterian Church

“And an angel of the LORD came up from Gilgal to Bochim, and said, I made you to go up out of Egypt, and have brought you unto the land which I sware unto your fathers; and I said, I will never break my covenant with you. And ye shall make no league with the inhabitants of this land; ye shall throw down their altars: but ye have not obeyed my voice: why have ye done this? Wherefore I also said, I will not drive them out from before you; but they shall be as thorns in your sides, and their gods shall be a snare unto you,” Judges 2:1-3.

(The synopsis of a sermon preached in Rasharkin Free Presbyterian Church by Rev Ivan Foster, 9th November 1990)

At a time when peace in the community and how best to achieve it are topics on virtually everyone’s lips, and that for a generation or more, it is all too easy for the child of God to forget the war that Christians are duty-bound to maintain. Everyone is for, must be for, peace in these days. So say the false and apostate religious leaders. Consequently, anyone or anything whose language or teaching seems to show any form of militancy must be opposed as evil.

Espousal of Bible Christianity is utterly impossible without a marked degree of contentiousness. That is why the historic creeds and confessions of the Church of Christ contain such vigorous denunciations of the sins of their age. The difficulties attending a faithful adherence to God’s Word in an unfaithful age are exemplified in the life of Jeremiah. “Woe is me, my mother, thou hast borne me a man of strife and a man of contention to the whole earth! I have neither lent on usury, nor men have lent to me on usury; yet every one of them doth curse me,”  Jeremiah 15:10. The recent appointment of Cahal Daly to the position of cardinal was heralded by a chorus of syrupy and fawning approval from the leaders of ecumenical Protestantism. His appointment met with ‘widespread approval’ according to the Belfast Newsletter. Archbishop Eames of the Church of Ireland is quoted as saying ‘I have been privileged to know Dr Daly for many years and I have the highest regard and respect for his intellectual gifts, his courage and his integrity.’ Read more

Laugh yourself to heaven at Newtownbreda Baptist Church / Comedy Club

In this modernistic, liberal age, many forms of worldly entertainment have been brought in to try to attract a crowd.

These can be quite successful (though that is absolutely no excuse for employing them), as the popularity of churches like the Vineyard and various community / fellowship type churches has proven.

Mostly, it entails the introduction of worldly music with a thin veneer of Christianity from the worship bands.

However, a far more offensive to God form of worldly entertainment was brought into a Baptist church in Belfast on Sunday, 10th February.

For Newtownbreda Baptist Church brought in a stand-up comedian to take their Sunday night service two Lord’s days ago.

Yes, you are reading that correctly, this is not a joke – Newtownbreda Baptist Church became Newtownbreda Comedy Club for the night as a stand-up comic took the platform in this most modern, trendy, hipster of Baptist churches. Read more on the Protestant Revival website.

‘Who cares if you’re Protestant or Catholic? Rome is an inspiration’, says Arch-apostate of Canterbury

In a shocking rejection of the precious gospel heritage the entire UK is blessed to have, when asked his opinion on Church of England vicars switching to Rome, the following is what this reprobate had to say:

“Who cares? I don’t mind about all that. Particularly if people go to Rome, which is such a source of inspiration.

‘If hell exists, it is empty’ – disgraceful claim of Presbyterian minister Rev Ernie Rea

In an interview with the Belfast Telegraph in the latest of the weekly feature on religious figures from Northern Ireland, Rev Ernie Rea propagated his heretical views on hell.

When asked if he had any fears about hell, he said: “If Hell exists, it is empty. A loving God could not condemn one of his children to everlasting fire.”

This statement is so spiritually misleading and theologically heretical that it is truly a disgrace.

One must wonder if he has ever actually read the Bible. Read more on the Protestant Revival website.

East Belfast Mission and Rev Andrew Irvine give themselves over to Rome

A former big shot on Belfast City Council, Rev Andrew Irvine has been brought on board at the East Belfast Mission to help boost its income.

And on Wednesday, 23 January, Rev Andrew Irvine engaged in his mean ecumenical compromise by preaching at a Week of Prayer for Christian Unity service in a Romanist chapel in Lurgan in County Armagh.

Rev Andrew Irvine was the speaker in the service in St Paul’s Roman Catholic church in the town.

How exactly such compromise can be justified is frankly remarkable. Read more on the Protestant Revival website.

The Bible-Believer’s response to the deepening apostasy

The synopsis of a sermon preached by Rev. Ivan Foster at a “Christian Watch” meeting in St John’s Wood Baptist church, London on Saturday 20th September 2003. It would appear from Ezekiel chapter 8: 1, that a conference of sorts had been convened in Ezekiel’s home. “And it came to pass in the sixth year, in the sixth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I sat in mine house, and the elders of Judah sat before me, that the hand of the Lord GOD fell there upon me.” Read more….

So-called ‘evangelical’ Bishop Harold Miller promotes unity with Rome

Every year in the latter part of January, the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity takes centre stage in many of the ecumenical churches, and 2019 was no different.

Indeed, it was the subject of one of the first posts mounted on this page last year and, sadly, once again this year we have the sad duty of documenting the wretched compromise carried out in the name of ‘unity’ in many of the churches up and down our land.

We are aware of at least eight ecumenical events which took place in Northern Ireland throughout the week, though it is more than likely there were more. Read more

Evangelical Alliance document suggests providing “trans” accessible toilets in church

The ongoing madness engulfing the western world in relation to matters of gender has begun to infect the church, and the Evangelical Alliance has apparently made a concession to this ungodly movement.

In a document called ‘Transformed’, which was written by Peter Lynas, he writes that “providing toilets that are clearly accessible to trans people will be an important part of the welcome provided by churches and charities”.

This would certainly seem to be a recommendation that churches make moves to tolerate the so-called gender choices made by people who make up what is known as the “trans community”. Read more on the Protestant Revival website…

Sacred memories of glorious days

A special service held in Mourne Free Presbyterian Church, 11th January 2019.

Preacher: Rev. Ivan Foster

Whatever memories I have and which burn in my heart, it is impossible for me to convey to you with anything like the impact that I and others like me, experienced, when these events took place.

I am reminded of the old Scottish woman who, struggling to express her feelings and emotions following her conversion said to her minister that the matter was : “Better felt that telt!”

We are permitted by the wonderful mercy of God to walk with the apostles as they companied with the Saviour and witnessed His wonderful words and works and yet, even though those memories are recorded by the inspiration of the Holy Ghost, they can and will convey little of the majesty and glory of those days without the blessing of God resting upon our reading of them. Read more and listen to the message here...

THE FORGOTTEN AND IGNORED ELEMENT OF MAN’S BEING – HIS ETERNAL SOUL!!

Dr. John Habgood

The great apostasy edges closer to its final and ultimate denial. That denial is given us in 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4. “Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.”

The same truth is found in Peter’s writings. “But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction,” 2 Peter 2:1.

The present apostasy will culminate in man’s outright denial of the Lord Himself and the Antichrist setting himself up as God.

The Christ-rejecting ecclesiastical world took a step nearer to that final apostasy in the mid-1990s with the denials voiced by Dr. John Habgood, the former Archbishop of York. He was reported in ‘The Times’ newspaper as saying that there was nothing in the human body that departs when we die. He claimed that the individual’s identity was “held in the mind of God”. He also said that hell was not regarded as a serious option these days. Read more

The course of events in this world have been predetermined by the Lord, as the following verses demonstrate. “For to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel determined before to be done,” Acts 4:28. “And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation,” Acts 17:26. (See also Ephesians 1:11, 3:11). Therefore when we see Israel at the centre of God’s dealings with mankind in the past, it is because He placed her there.

That Israel is at the centre of the prophetic world is clear, when we give consideration to the following truth. Read more

True Protestantism is ‘residual bigotry’, says ‘Papist’ Peter Lynas

The leader of the Evangelical Alliance and senior figure in the Causeway Coast Vineyard Church, Peter Lynas, has hit out at anyone who dares to question or highlight his ecumenical cuddling up with Rome.

‘Papist’ Peter Lynas, a title he has emphatically earned, let loose at any true Protestant when given a forum by the Belfast Telegraph last week.

He branded any who pointed out the error of mixing with the false and blasphemous religion of Romanism as being guilty of demonstrating “residual bigotry” in an interview with the arch-ecumenist Alf McCreary.

In his interview, ‘Papist’ Peter Lynas said in response to a question enquiring as to whether he has ever received any criticism for his faith: “There is also some residual bigotry directed at me for working with the Catholic Church on areas of shared interest. Very few actually want to engage – there is a lot of virtue-signalling, which is a shame.”

Both of the key words he used, “residual bigotry”, are very instructive. Read more the Protestant Revival website

Going to Rome for Christmas in Ballymoney Church of Ireland

Rev. Andrew Sweeney, Ballymoney CoI

Churches up and down the country will be holding special Christmas services throughout the month of December, but the Church of Ireland in Ballymoney will make use of this time of year to strengthen ecumenical relationships with the Roman Catholic Church.

An “inter-denominational” carol service was held in the County Antrim town on Monday, 3rd December.

It started, as so often is the case with ecumenical events involving travelling between churches, in the Protestant church, in this case St Patrick’s Church of Ireland, before finishing up in the Roman Catholic church, in this case Our Lady and St Patrick’s.

Even the name of that Roman Catholic church should have been sufficient to dissuade any so-called Protestants from going near it, as it alludes to the unscriptural veneration of Mary which is a key characteristic of Roman Catholicism. Read more on the Protestant Revival website…

Brexit’ – What Saith the Scriptures?

The issue of “Brexit” is before us as never before since the UK voted 2016 to leave the EU!
It appears that what has been settled upon by the Prime Minister is not what the 17+ million citizens voted for in 2016.

The thinking of the citizenry who voted “leave” really counts for nothing but what the “all-wise” “gnomes of worldly enterprise” pontificate is what matters!

When Moses said the people of Israel would leave Egypt and that “there shall not an hoof be left behind” (Exodus 10:26) that complete removal took place. But we are not led by a Moses or anything like him! Read more

THE PROPAGANDA OF THE SODOMITES ADVANCES

“And he brake down the houses of the sodomites, that were by the house of the LORD,” 2 Kings 23:7.

I have been prompted to pen this little article by the BBC mounting yet another news feature ‘promoting’ sodomy and giving a platform to those who wickedly claim that they are ‘Christian’ sodomites.

The BBC article does not accurately give the Bible-believer’s answer to such a claim as might be expected, given that the BBC is an ungodly organisation which has no allegiance to God and His Truth.

The evidence put forth for ‘sodomite Christianity’ is based simply on the declaration made by those that claim they are both ‘gay and Christian’!

That, to say the least, is rather a tenuous foundation upon which to stake the genuineness of this assertion. After all, Judas would have claimed to have been a follower of Christ! So too did Simon (Magus), Acts 8. There have been millions of individuals who have claimed to have been ‘true believers’ since the Fall of Adam. However, simply to make such a claim is not sufficient evidence upon which to accept such a person as a Christian.

No, there must be evidence that the person is a Christian. The Lord clearly tell us what the evidence is. Read more

Presbyterian minister: Church must do more for people with HIV

Why we should love the Jewish people

The substance of two school morning assembly messages given in Kilskeery Independent Christian School, by retired minister and school administrator, Rev Ivan Foster

“Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee: and I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: and I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed,” Genesis 12:1-3.

It is clear from the first words spoken to Abraham, from whom sprang the Jewish people, that he and his descendants would be those about whom there would a division of opinions. There would be those that would “bless” them and there would be those who would “curse” them!

Those that “bless” them would be blessed of God and those that “cursed” them would be cursed of God.

They were, in heaven’s eyes, a very special people. Read more

All Souls Non-Subscribing Presbyterian Church holds Transgender Remembrance service

When you survey the pitiful state of much of professing Christendom in Ulster today, you cannot help but be reminded of Paul’s caution to Timothy, written under the inspiration of God.

Surely it cannot be disputed that the religious deception is waxing worse and worse in our land.

And no more blatant example of this could surely be found than last week’s ‘Transgender Day of Remembrance’ service in the reprobate All Souls Non-Subscribing Presbyterian Church in Belfast.

This church shows such a disregard for the Word of God that it is actually breathtaking.

All Souls Non-Subscribing Presbyterian Church holds this transgender service every year as it continues to proudly defy God’s Word and the natural order he ordained, which can be seen in the verse at the top of this article.
