So reads the headline in a report on the new site of ‘Raidió Teilifís Éireann’, the Irish Republic’s national television and radio broadcaster, on November 9th, 2023.
Romanism is an ‘evolutionary’ religion! Like the Covid virus it is ever mutating!
God’s description of the final development of ‘Antichristianity’ or ‘Babylonianism’ is given us in Revelation 18:1-8.
“And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory. And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities. Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double. How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow. Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.”
Please note the descriptive phrase: “The habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird”. Gathered in under the auspices of that which God calls the “the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication”; the final manifestation of that which is the ultimate in ungodliness, “MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH”, Revelation 17:5; there is every form and fashion of man’s rejection of God’s TRUTH and rebellion against God’s SON!
We see in Roman Catholicism, while it is NOT the final manifestation of Antichristianity, rather it is that which is a transitional form of the final apostasy of man. It is seen as a movement which gathers to itself “every unclean and hateful bird” of immorality and evil.
Here we have the pope declaring that the perversion of ‘transgenderism’ will find a home in his ‘cage’! His ‘cage’ is already the home of very many forms of corruption. In this age of ‘newspaper disclosures’, there have been innumerable exposures of the vilest crimes carried out by nuns, priests, bishops, archbishops and cardinals of the Roman Catholic organisation!
Is it not astounding that after all that has been revealed regarding this religious structure, none in the ‘high places’ of this world’s governments have ever called for its abolition! Rather, it is still honoured, fawned upon and its ‘blessing’ sought! It would be more proper for a ‘Soho nightclub’ to be the centre of ‘Christian pilgrimages’ than for Roman Catholicism to be deemed an instrument of the God of Heaven!
Rome’s ‘Mass’ is a denial of the finished work of Christ.
The ‘Mass’ is the central ritual of Popery. While the Bible tells us that Christ cried out on the cross, even as He yielded up Himself to death as our substitutionary sacrifice, “When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost,” John 19:30.
Paul the apostle teaches us, “But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool. For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified,” Hebrews 10:12-14.
Rome, in complete contraction of God’s Word teaches its people that in the “Mass’ there is a ‘re-sacrificing of Christ and by the so-called miracle of ‘transubstantiation’ the bread becomes the real and actual body of Christ and the contents of the cup, the real blood of Christ, though neither changes in appearance and form!
According to Rome’s teaching, Christ’s sacrifice is not only recalled in the mass, it is made present. In the eucharistic prayer, the church asks God the Father to send the Holy Spirit upon the bread and wine on the altar so that by his power they may become the very body and blood that Christ offered on the cross. That change having occurred, Christ is offered anew to God the Father, and the church unites with him in that offering.
Here is how one Roman Catholic website puts the matter. “Eucharist’ means to give thanks, so it begins by the ‘offertory’ when we offer ourselves to God. This is symbolised by taking up the bread and wine which will become the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ, and the collection. During the Eucharistic prayer everyone kneels as to worship Jesus Christ who becomes present under the appearance of bread and wine when the priest says the ‘consecration’. The change is not ‘done’ by the priest, but by Christ, and whilst visible, nothing appears to have changed, the change is one of substance, of what it is.”
This is utter theological ‘gobbledygook’! Consider Paul’s words when he sets forth Christ and His atoning work.. “Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high,” Hebrews 1:3. Christ’s sitting down clearly implies that He had finished the word of atonement. This truth is repeated later in the same epistle. “Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.” Hebrews 9:12. Despite what Rome claims we are to REMEMBER the finished work of Christ, not try and RE-ENACT it!
I. ROME DENIES THAT CHRIST IS THE ONLY MEDIATOR BETWEEN MAN AND GOD.
The Bible is very explicit on this matter. “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,” 1 Timothy 2:5. Despite the explicitness of God’s Word, Rome blithely announces that ‘Mary’ is a mediator. Indeed, Rome says that ‘Mary’ is a BETTER mediator than Christ!
Here is a prayer that Roman Catholics are taught to pray to ‘Mary’.
“O Mary, Most Holy and Immaculate Mother of God, of Jesus, our Victim- High Priest, True Prophet, and Sovereign King, I come to you as the Mediatrix of All Grace, for that is truly what you are. O Fountain of all Grace! O Fairest of Roses! Most Pure Spring! Unsullied Channel of all of God’s Grace! Receive me, Most Holy Mother! Present me and my every need to the Most Holy Trinity! That having been made pure and holy in His Sight through your hands, they may return to me, through you, as graces and blessing. I give and consecrate myself to you, Mary, Mediatrix of All Grace, that Jesus, Our One True Mediator, Who is the King of All Nations, may Reign in every heart. Amen”
Please note the contradictory wording. In this ‘prayer’, ‘Mary’ is called ‘the Mediatrix of All Grace, for that is truly what you are’, ‘Unsullied Channel of all of God’s Grace’, ‘That having been made pure and holy in His sight through your hands, they may return to me, through you, as graces and blessing’, ‘Mary, Mediatrix of All Grace’.
I will make no comment on the blasphemous title given to ‘Mary’ at the beginning of the ‘prayer’ other than to say it sets the tone of this blasphemy by indicating that ‘Mary’, as the ‘Mother of God’ preceded, came before, “the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth,” Isaiah 40:28.
Now, having exalted ‘Mary’ as the channel through which ‘all of God’s grace’ comes to the petitioner, the ‘prayer’ ends with the words, ‘Jesus, Our One True Mediator, Who is the King of All Nations, may Reign in every heart’.
You don’t need a theological dictionary to recognise the puerile contradictions in this so-called ‘prayer’.
I have repeatedly placed the name Mary in ‘inverted commas’ for I wish to stress that the ‘Mary’ to whom they are referring to is NOT the Mary of the Bible!
Rome claims that Mary was ‘immaculate’! Wikipedia states:
“The Immaculate Conception is the belief that the Virgin Mary was free of original sin from the moment of her conception. It is one of the four Marian dogmas of the Catholic Church. Debated by medieval theologians, it was not defined as a dogma until 1854, by Pope Pius IX in the papal bull Ineffabilis Deus. While the Immaculate Conception asserts Mary’s freedom from original sin, the Council of Trent, held between 1545 and 1563, had previously affirmed her freedom from personal sin.”
This is utterly unscriptural and but the basis of a Marian cult! Mary, the mother of our Saviour, was a simple believer, a sinner saved by the grace of God as her own declaration indicates. “And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord, And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour,” Luke 1:46-47.
One who is ‘immaculate’, flawlessly perfect, does not need a Saviour!
II. POPERY USES TERMS AND TITLES OF ITS ‘CLERGY’ THAT ARE UTTERLY IMPROPER.
The Pope calls himself ‘the Holy Father’. That title is used only once in the record of Holy Scripture, that by the Lord Jesus when He addresses His Heavenly Father. “And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are,” John 17:11.
By claiming this title and having his followers so address him, the pope thus elevates himself to the very throne of God! This is that spirit that will be seen in its fulness in the person of the final Antichrist, of whom Paul says: “Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God,” 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4. Every time the pope is so addressed you have a ‘rudimentary setting forth’ of that ultimate act of rebellion against God, referred to by Paul.
This defiance of God is seen also in the universal title embraced by all the priests of Rome. They would have all address them as ‘Father’. Again the Bible speaks plainly on such a matter, though no heed is taken to what it states. “And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven,” Matthew 23:9. We are not to address any man as our ‘spiritual father’! That is placing upon such a being the title and position that belongs to God ALONE!
But as I say, Rome and her adherents, with cheerful indifference, ignore what God says!
III. IN THIS LATEST DISPLAY OF HIS IGNORANCE OF THE MIND OF GOD, THE POPE FLIES IN THE FACE OF THE CLEAR TEACHING OF HOLY SCRIPTURE.
‘Transgenderism’ is a perversion as well as a physical and farcical contrivance, born of the evil depravities that have come to the surface in this day of unlicensed immorality!
The departure from the proclaiming the truths of the Bible in the pulpits of the main churches, has resulted in breaches in the ‘hedges of morality’, which should encircle and protect the kingdom of God.
As the Psalmist said, there has been breaking down of her hedges, “so that all they which pass by the way do pluck her? The boar out of the wood doth waste it, and the wild beast of the field doth devour it,” Psalm 80:12-13. It is ‘open day’ for the trampling down of all the ordinances of God.
The Saviour declared definitively, the composition of humanity. “And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder,” Matthew 19:4-6.
Those to whom the Saviour was speaking, had they read Genesis 1:27-28, they would not have needed to hear these words from the Saviour.
“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth,” Genesis 1:27-28. Those whose hearts and minds are warped by sin, may seek to ape being a member of the opposite sex, they may dress themselves so, undergo surgery in a profoundly stupid attempt to alter their orientation, but they will but bring upon themselves physical misery in this world and eternal damnation in the next!
The pope in his pompous pronouncement has but encouraged poor beguiled creatures to go further in their shameful folly and finally to everlasting ruin.
What a satanic vehicle of sinful misery the Church of Rome is in truth.
If you, dear reader, are a Roman Catholic, I can but ask you to consider what I say in the light of GOD’S WORD, which is our ONLY rule of faith and practice.
Surely there are many who belong to the Roman Catholic church but who see that something is seriously wrong when common decency is so obviously abandoned and violated by those of every rank of its ‘clergy’ and that constantly.
Can this really be the institution that Christ founded?
The answer is obvious!
