Moral perversion in London’s police

Openly gay Met commissioner Dame Cressida Dick says she’s not stepping down

I send out this article with weariness of soul and a great measure of reluctance.

I feel that I have not the inclination nor the time any more to take up the plethora of reported incidents which press upon us all the indecency which pervades our society today.  Nor do I feel that you, as those who desire to turn away their eyes from evil, have the inclination to have such things pressed upon you.

I believe it is approaching the time to “shake off the dust” of our feet with regards the many denominations and groups to whom innumerable warnings and exhortations have been addressed, and that without any God-honouring response.

Just what is the devout Christian to do in the circumstances which are rapidly developing around us?

I believe that Isaiah 26:20-21 offers us guidance on this matter.

“Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain,” Isaiah 26:20-21.

Surely that day is fast approaching! I believe that as Noah and his family entered into the ark he had built at the Lord’s direction, even so must the earnest Christian seek to so model his home that he and his family will find within its confines a place where we can ’shut the door’ against the world and its wickedness.

We have a promise offered in the Saviour’s prayer for us to His Father.

“And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we [are]. While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled. And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves. I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth,” John 17:11-17.

May each earnest believer know and experience the wonderful answer to that prayer.

Sincerely in Christ,

Ivan Foster.

This is the question that many ask, especially after it has been announced in the news a ‘Metropolitan Police officer charged with rape.’

There has been great anger generated by the responses of the head of the Metropolitan police, Dame Cressida Dick, to the recent murder of a young woman in London, Miss Sarah Everard, by an off-duty policeman, one Wayne Couzens,  who ‘arrested’ her, took her away in his car and assaulted and murdered her.

It is felt by many that Cressida Dick has utterly failed to comprehend the seriousness of the situation within her own force when 26 police colleagues of Couzens committed sex crimes since 2016! The offences of which they were found guilty included rape and possession of indecent images of children.

The best advice Cressida Dick could give to any female threatened as was the unfortunate recent murder victim, Miss Everard, was to ‘wave down a bus’!!

That she could make such a statement before the world’s press and that her PR team allowed her to have such a stupid direction in her prepared public statement is illustrative of just how out of touch they are at the ‘top’!

I feel that the situation is easily explained by the fact that the female head of the Met police is herself one who engages in perversion in that she, as was reported in the ’Sun’ newspaper earlier this year, as Cressida Dick is the first openly gay commissioner of the Metropolitan Police. She has been in a relationship with Helen for a number of years.”

Here is an example of just how low morality has sunk in this once Bible-believing Protestant nation. That a woman engaged in such immorality is placed in such a position of authority, honoured with the title of Dame by the Queen and her utter incompetence is defended by Boris Johnston, the Prime Minister and all this without a whimper from the professing ‘godliness’ within the leadership of the mainline churches, is completely incomprehensible.

Our nation is surely seen to be utterly of the same spirit as that of the wicked king Ahab of whom it is said: “But there was none like unto Ahab, which did sell himself to work wickedness in the sight of the LORD, whom Jezebel his wife stirred up,” 1Kings 21:25.

There is a bold defiance of God and all His Word declares in the general attitude and behaviour on the streets and in the homes of our nation. It cannot and will not continue long. There is a day appointed when the Lord “will visit their sin upon them,” Exodus 32:34. That day draws ever nearer.

The same atmosphere is seen here in Ulster as well as anywhere else. Preaching God’s Word in the open-air against sodomy is deemed illegal; the Church of Ireland is urged to live at peace with the abominable perversions of the LGBT lifestyle; our political leaders and their supporters deem it acceptable to endorse sodomy and its allied perversions, even those amongst them who profess to be Christians!

Just how much lower can we sink?
