Good news is hard to find, outside of the Word of God.
The latest political announcement to hit Northern Ireland cannot, by any stretch of the imagination, be considered ‘good news’!
Doubtless, Sinn Fein/IRA will be clapping hands and slapping backs but that being so, it will tell us the character of this report.

Joe Kennedy III confirmed as US special envoy to Northern Ireland
It is a deliberate ‘poke in the eye’ for the Unionist people of Ulster from that ‘arch-hater’ of all that is Protestant and British, President Joe Biden.
He has acknowledged the influence his mother has had over him and the forming of his political views. She was a bitter emigrant Irish Papist who brought with her to the USA all the bitterness toward all things British and Protestant, that only an Irish Papist heart can contain.
The Kennedy clan is stained with the grossest of immorality. Old Joe Kennedy was a well known philanderer, supportive of Hitler and the Nazis and an opponent of the United Kingdom’s war effort at the first. It is commonly believed that he made much of his great fortune through the sale of alcohol! It was this fortune which bought him his way into politics.
President John F Kennedy was infamous in his illicit relationships with many women in his day. None was more documented than his immoral liaison with Marilyn Monroe, notorious Hollywood strumpet who died in circumstances in which many have alleged the Kennedy clan had a dark hand.
Joe Kennedy III is Robert Kennedy’s grandson! Robert Kennedy was widely reported to also having had a clandestine relationship with the film actress, Marilyn Monroe.
Witnesses claim to have heard a disturbing tape from the bugged Monroe home the night of her death, on which the voice of the actor, Peter Lawford, who introduced the actress to the Kennedy brothers and was their brother-in-law, and the voices of an angry Bobby and a screaming Monroe, are audible.
Another of the Kennedy brothers involved in shocking controversy was ’Teddy’ Kennedy of ‘Chappaquiddick’ renown!
The Chappaquiddick incident occurred on Chappaquiddick Island in Massachusetts some time around midnight between July 18 and 19, 1969, when Senator Edward M. “Ted” Kennedy negligently drove his car off a narrow bridge, causing it to overturn in a tidal pond. This resulted in the drowning death of his 28-year-old passenger Mary Jo Kopechne, who was trapped inside the vehicle.
He was never able to satisfactorily explain what the young woman was doing in his car at such an hour and how it was he managed to get ashore but she was left to drown in the submerged car!
The father of this new envoy, Joe Kennedy II, visited Belfast in the 1980s and told a British soldier he encountered that he should go back to his own country. The soldier replied, ‘Why don’t you go back to yours.”
The soldier was a UK citizen and he was on duty within the UK! Kennedy was an interfering alien and he was rightly told so, by the soldier.
Joe Kennedy III will bring with him no love for Ulster and its Protestant history, but like his master, Joe Biden, will fly the flag for Irish republicanism.
The Bible says: “When a man’s ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him,” Proverbs 16:7.
The converse of that is getting a Joe Kennedy III appointed as the US special envoy to meddle and interfere in your affairs to which he ought to have no access!
We are seeing Ulster reaping the consequences of pursuing a path which very much displeases the Lord., thanks to the ungodly leadership of ecumenical preachers and false prophets and the more recent moral regression of the Democratic Unionist Party.
“Even as I have seen, they that plow iniquity, and sow wickedness, reap the same,” Job 4:8.
“When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you. Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me: for that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD: they would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof. Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices,” Proverbs 1:27-31
