Further evidence of the growing obsession with drugs!
Young people ditching alcohol for party drugs as new data reveals record high ketamine and MDMA useage
I have often quoted Revelation 18:23, which refers to the end-time city of Babylon and its dominating of the territory of the ten kingdoms, the latter-day empire of the Antichrist. The territory of the ten kingdoms will be basically that occupied by the Roman Empire of old.
The verse states: “And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.”
This is a declaration of the doom of the revived Babylon, the seat of Antichrist’s power. It is to be noted that its “merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.”
The word ’sorceries’ is a translation of the Greek word, ‘pharmakeia’. It literally means ‘the use of or the administering of drugs.’ It is translated in Galatians 5:20 by the English word ‘witchcraft’.
Thus the influence of Babylon over all subservient to its dominion, is to be carried out by satanic powers employed by those under the influence of drugs!
The following reported appeared at the end of last week on the news site of – USA Today.
The article was headlined:

It contained this statement: “The Oval Office meeting came the same day the New York Times reported that Musk allegedly frequently used drugs such as ketamine, (regularly used in veterinary medicine – Editor) ecstasy and psychedelic mushrooms while campaigning with Trump in 2024. The paper said it was unclear whether Musk used drugs while working for Trump in the Department of Government Efficiency.
Musk, the CEO of carmaker Tesla and rocket company SpaceX, and owner of social-media platform X, acknowledged in March 2024 that he used prescription ketamine to combat bouts of depression. He worried corporate executives by smoking marijuana during a podcast in 2018.
The New York Times story built on a Wall Street Journal story in January 2024 that alleged Musk used drugs such as LSD, cocaine, ecstasy and mushrooms. The campaign featured some erratic behavior, such as Musk jumping on stage behind Trump during an October rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
Musk didn’t respond to reporters’ questions related to his drug use, but he has previously acknowledged using ‘small amount’ of ketamine ‘once every other week’ and marijuana ‘almost never.’ The New York Times reported that his ketamine use was often enough to affect his bladder.”

It was billed by the US president as a press conference.

They were part of the “pool”, a chosen group of journalists on a rota to cover the president’s movements each day.”
The rota used to be drawn up by the White House Correspondents Association on a rotating basis.
The Trump administration has changed that. They now compile the pool.
And on Friday, as it happens, the media seemed particularly compliant.
The questions were soft. Painfully so.”
The USA Today report continued: “President Donald Trump marked the end of Musk’s tenure as a government employee with an event in the Oval Office May 30, where he thanked the billionaire for his work leading the Department of Government Efficiency and gave him a golden key.”
President Trump said: “Elon’s delivered a colossal change in the old ways of doing business in Washington.”
“Musk used DOGE to bulldoze through the federal government, shuttering whole agencies and instituting mass layoffs. The result, he said May 30, is about $160 billion in savings so far, far below the $2 trillion he talked about on the campaign trail and $1 trillion he pledged after Trump took office.
Critics complained that he hurt vital programs with indiscriminate cutting and nonpartisan researchers calculated that most of the savings will be wiped out by the costs of reinstating workers whose firings were illegal, defending those cases in court, and other effects like lost revenue from shrinking the IRS. The resulting backlash took a toll.”
Musk shuts down question about drug use

A reporter tried to ask Musk about his alleged drug use during the 2024 campaign. But Musk dodged the question and criticized the New York Times’ reporting on Russian interference in the 2016 election.
‘Let’s move on,’ Musk said, standing behind the president at the Resolute Desk.”
Here is reported, in a very limited manner, the disconcerting ‘shenanigans’ within the most powerful political administration in the world. The drug-taking, highly honoured Elon Musk, exercised great power and was given a free hand to do so. All the while a man who, while he minimised his drug-taking, is hardly to be believed, any more than an alcoholic is to be heeded when he says he only drinks ‘occasionally’!
It can be said that there must have been times when he ‘wielded his immense power’ that he did so under the influence and power of the many drugs he frequently took.
This is the picture presented to us, to an even great degree, in Revelation 18:23.
What has been happening and doubtless is continuing to happen in Washington will one day mark the administration of the Antichrist, centred in Babylon and impacting on much of Europe and the Middle East!
The “great wrath”, mentioned in Revelation 12:12 — “Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time” — will be channelled through the minions of Antichrist, fuelled by drugs!

In my lifetime, drug-taking has emerged and became as common as the consumption of alcohol. Indeed, some would say even more common.
Alcohol is a drug somewhat controlled by law but drugs may be obtained — as is commonly reported — by any, from schoolchildren upward!
Drugs would always have been used by the rich but now virtually every street corner has its ‘supplier’ of the poison!
This ever growing plague must inevitably influence the actions of government and Elon Musk is but a ‘specimen’ of what is to come on a much greater scale!
As Revelation 18:23 states, the drug-controlled “merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.”
Do we not see, despite its creeping encroachment at the first, that drug-taking is indeed beginning to dominate society.
It will yet rule this part of the world under Antichrist!
