Message preached yesterday evening in Coragarry

Coragarry Free Presbyterian Church, Co Monaghan, Republic of Ireland.

Yesterday I preached at the Sabbath services in Coragarry Free Presbyterian Church in Co. Monaghan.

When I arrived home after the evening service I contrasted my weariness with how I felt in 1971 when I first travelled there to conduct a gospel mission in the old Orange Hall, beside which now stands the Free Presbyterian Church.

Back then, three meetings per Sabbath and very occasionally, four meetings as well as five meetings during the week, was a usual occurrence. That I was able to do without the least weariness.

But I was only 27 years old!

I enjoy yesterday’s visit and I am attaching a copy of our evening message. You may have listened to it before for I preached the same text on at least one other occasion.

We pray that the folk in Coragarry will experience the Lord’s blessing as they welcome Mr Gregory Gibson, who is to be ordained and installed as their new minister at the end of this month. We wish Mr Gibson and his family every blessing.

Sincerely in Christ’s name,

Ivan Foster
