Today, I submitted the following letter to the Belfast Newsletter.
It maybe a little ‘tongue in cheek’, but I am sure that many noticed that the actions of the police in London differed greatly from the reaction of those responsible for ‘law and order’ here in Northern Ireland with regards the ‘non-arrest’ of those who made no secret of their terrorist activities and who, instead of justice, enjoyed elevation to high office and the mollifying and the aggrandisement proffered by successive London governments toward those who are worthy only of imprisonment!
Dear Sir,

The news today (19.2.26) of the arrest of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor is really no surprise.
What is a surprise is that nobody told him that if he had become a member of Sinn Fein, he would not have been arrested, even if he was guilty of murder!
However, this event proves the veracity of the general principle of a just providence, embodied in those notable Bible words, “Be sure your sin will find you out,” Numbers 32:23.
This statement is true, whether or not the powers that be fail in their duty, for divine providence shall see to it that in the end it will be evident that, “Evil pursueth sinners,” Proverbs 13:21.
Those in Ulster, who foolishly believe that they have gotten away with murder, need to consider these words and fear!!
