A blatant lie or an ‘Ignatius Loyola’ inspired deception?
Gerry Adams’ repeated denials of IRA membership and ever holding a position of leadership in the terrorist organisation, is to be seen in the light of the ‘moral code’ of the Roman Catholic Church, of which Adams is an active member.
To the Roman Catholic, the Bible, as a moral guide, is second to the ‘Canon Law’. Canon law is the internal legal system and set of rules governing the Catholic Church, designed to guide its mission, organisation, and faithful, particularly regarding sacraments, governance, and administration.
It is all authoritative and takes the place of the Bible within Romanism!
The ‘essence’ of the teachings of ‘Canon Law’ are derived from the ‘moral’ instructions laid down by Alphonsus Liguori (27 September 1696 – 1 August 1787). He is considered very highly within Popery, a ‘saint and a doctor of the church’, equal rank with Augustine and Chrysostom.
He is the author of Moral Theology, a nine-volume work concerning Catholic moral theology written between 1748 and 1785. The teachings of these volumes, it may truthfully be said, are a record from the pen of the devil!
Just consider these statements.
Specifically, regarding telling the truth, Liguori taught the following.
Such ‘prevarication’ forms the basis of that taught by Jesuits. It is called the doctrine of ‘equivocation’ (lie, sophism) or ‘mental reservation’.
A Jesuit stated: ‘it is permitted to use ambiguous terms, leading people to understand them in a different sense from that in which we understand them… A man may swear that he never did something (though he actually did), meaning within himself that he did not do so on such a day, or before he was born, or under any such circumstances, while the words he employs have no such sense as would discover his meaning.’

That is what Gerry Adams, a son of the ‘Harlot of Rome’, was practising at the court in London.
That ‘beret’!
It was reported in the ‘Belfast Telegraph’, 10/3/26, that:
‘A former IRA member has told the High Court in London that an image he says shows Gerry Adams wearing a beret at a funeral is proof he was in the organisation.
Shane Paul O’Doherty added that there was “not a chance” anyone else would wear that style of hat at the time.’
Giving evidence in a civil case brought against the former Sinn Fein president, he said the image, purportedly taken at the funeral of IRA man Michael Kane in September 1971, shows Mr Adams wearing a beret as part of an “honour guard”.
He said anyone who was not a member of the IRA “wouldn’t want to be caught with one” and that the berets were kept in IRA “dumps” along with “other regalia”.’
It was also reported that he said (11/3/26): “All PIRA volunteers who joined the PIRA in the early 1970s and thereafter were instructed to lie to everyone about their PIRA membership – this meant lying to their families, whether to their parents or to their wives and children.”
He added: “No-one took this PIRA policy to lying to such an absurd extreme as Adams.”
Frustrating!
It is frustrating to have to listen to such deceit and falsehood presented as TRUTH by the likes of Adams. However, we in Northern Ireland have become somewhat used to it since it is part and parcel of the public persona of the likes of Michelle O’Neill and her fellow Sinn Fein prevaricators, north and south, to so barefacedly, stand before the press and pronounce without a blush that which God repeatedly denounces.
“These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: . . . a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, . . . a false witness that speaketh lies,” Proverbs 6:16 – 17, 19.
The Bible also, in mercy, warns the liar of the fate that waits him.
“But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death,” Revelation 21:8.
Doubtless, Gerry Adams considers himself a crafty person, eluding the enforcers of the law for so long by lies and deceptions, BUT he will not escape that final tribunal, presided over by the Son of God, the Lord Jesus Christ!
“And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire,” Revelation 20:12-15.
