The Resurgence of Sodom and the Response of God’s people

“Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; but the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed,” Luke 17:28-30.

Within the last 25 years society has undergone a marked change of attitude toward what heretofore was regarded as a gross iniquity, an abominable practice, a crime worthy of imprisonment. I am referring to sodomy. The word of God describes the practice in the clearest of terms even though many clerics and church leaders are at pains to suggest that God has not spoken on the matter in a manner that leaves its heinousness beyond doubt…There is hardly a denomination within our Province but has manifested a change of attitude, a weakening of its opposition, including our own Free Presbyterian Church.
